One morning, I wake up by the musical sound of birds singing and the sound of wind sweeping through the window in a beautiful harmony. I open my eyes slowly, adjusting them to the bright light that was shining into the room and feeling the warmth of the rising sun through a single window.
Where am I?
This is the first question that popped up in my head. But who else can answer that question when I myself do not even know it. It’s as if I have been sleeping with an endless dream and finally wake up, to find myself all alone in a small room without a door. There’s only one window, one mirror, and a white bed I’m now laying on.
Who am I?
That’s a bigger question. I don’t even know who I am. Why am I here? What am I doing? My head is full of questions.
There is no one here. Only sunlight, blowing wind, and songs from the birds.
I hold myself up, walk carefully to the mirror and look at the reflection.
