MAY YOUR
May your life be full of sunshine, even when your skies are gray.
May you find the strength to go on when you think you've lost your way.
May the smiles you get from others be the warm fulfilling kind.
May your dreams that you are dreaming be easier to find.
When you look into your past may you look without regret
of people, places or things you would be better to forget.
May you find your happiness as you pass on through the years.
But remember you receive wisdom when lessons are learned from your tears.
May the love you find in your life be the kind you know will last,
the kind of love that will free your heart from all of your pain of the past.
When it becomes time to look into that final bright light,
may you look secure in the knowledge you have loved and loved right.
Love
You remind me of springtime, because you’re making me smile.
I know I could love you in just a short while.
Are you the dream that keeps replaying in my mind?
Are you the true love I've been searching to find?
If I told you I loved you would they be words you'd like to hear?
Will I be the one you’ll miss whenever I'm not near?
Can I give you my heart to cherish and hold?
Will you seek my warmth whenever you're cold?
Can I hold you at night to calm all of your fears?
Will you let me be the one that dries all your tears?
When I look into your eyes will you feel the same?
When I touch secret places will you whisper my name?
Will you give me your heart and let your love show?
When you tell me you love me will I already know?
Can I open my hands and let you fly away free?
Secure in the knowledge you'll fly home to me.
Mystery of a Star
You say you're looking for
the person that you used to be,
long before loves careless games
left you lost “clear out to sea.”
You look into the mirror and
there's a stranger in your place,
You wonder when you disappeared
as you stare into empty space.
However, when I look into your heart
you're as beautiful as azures skies.
I seem to melt a little when I look
into your smiling eyes.
When you are looking for yourself
you really don’t need to look too far.
