Before going out on your diving expedition, start your day with a refreshing breakfast of fruit crepes or bacon, eggs and potatoes. Meanwhile, the resort staff performs a final check of all the equipments before loading it for transportation to the Malatapay Pier. From the pier, you’ll board a 60-foot bangka (boat) for a short 25-minute trip to Apo Island. Before going on Dive #1, Gary or Dex will brief you on what to expect, the conditions of the dive, and how deep the dive is going to be.
After the first dive, you’ll need to replenish your energy for Dive #2. A light lunch of fruits, sweets, nuts, and sandwiches are served along the shores of Apo Island. Prepared by the wonderful chefs of Monarch Sands Resort, you’re guaranteed something delicious and filling.
During your hour breaks on the boat, instructor Gary is available to answer any diving questions that you may have. As an experienced diver and PADI certified instructor, he is a gold mine of information on techniques as well as the myriad marine life in the Philippines. You’re bound to learn something valuable and insightful from him to aid you in your future diving adventures.
After completing Dive #3, the bangka will transport you back to the Matalapay Pier where you’ll be picked up and returned to our Philippine beach resort. Upon your arrival at the resort, our staff is readily available to clean and care for your equipment while you prepare for a fantastic dinner on the beach.
