Perhaps you have heard someone say that they are waiting for the light at the end of the tunnel. Maybe you have thought to yourself, what light, and what tunnel are they talking about? Or it could be that you are familiar with the phrase. In any case I wanted to give a brief description of the tunnel and the light based on what people have reported who have had Near-Death Experiences.
The spirit of a person travels from the earth to the spiritual world through the tunnel. A tunnel that is so dark, words can’t describe it. Yet for being so dark, the person travelling through it says that it is a very peaceful experience. In fact they say they feel great warmth and comfort in the tunnel.
Some are aware of other people or animals in the tunnel with them. They travel at a very high rate of speed, yet some say that they could stay in the comfort of the darkness for as long as they wanted.
While travelling, the person notices a pin light at the end of the tunnel. This light becomes larger and larger as they move closer to it.
When they reach the light, they are amazed at how bright and brilliant the light is. Again they can’t find the right words to describe it. Some just say it is brighter than the sun…brighter than ten suns.
The person then discovers that they are able to interact with the great light, and that it is indeed a spirit.
My friends, this light, this brilliant light, is a being that some call an angel and others call Jesus. It is the most brilliant, friendly, warm, humorous being there could ever be. The wonderful thing about it is that it knows you. It has known you forever, even before you were born. And this spirit radiates such love, that you are swallowed up in it.
There is no fear, no sorrow, no pain, just bliss. You are home.
You will be able to ask questions and answer questions with this spirit not through words, but by picking up each other’s thoughts. There will be no communication gaps and no one telling you to press one for English and two for Spanish.
The brilliant spirit will then ask the most important question anyone will ever ask you. “What have you done with your life?”
The bible states that we must all give an account of our lives, and says that God is watching us at all times. When you are alone, your true character shows. Are you making your Creator proud?
From the research I have done, it has been made clear that this question is asked without judgment. Only the person can judge himself. You are your greatest critic.
Think about it for a minute. You must love yourself enough on earth to have a good answer to this question when on the other side. We need to make the most of our time on earth.
Many are unsure of what is waiting for them at the end of the tunnel. Perhaps you have a fear of death. I am telling you that in all of the research I have done…there is nothing to fear.
After being asked the question, the individual then must give an account of their life on earth. The review is then shown to them on a big screen. It unfolds in front of them, and the brilliant spirit is there the whole time to comfort the person as the past is being reviewed. Again, no judgment is made by the spirit, only by the person. Be extremely easy on yourself when the time comes.
After the review, the person is then asked if they would like to come back to earth by the spirit. I have not read of a single instance where the person being asked wants to come back to earth. They feel like they are home, and don’t want to face anymore struggles that they have on earth.
If it is not their time to die, the spirit will tell them that they must go back to earth to finish their mission. In some cases they are reminded of why they chose to come to earth, but that memory is erased once they are back.
As you can see, the wonderful spirit that awaits you is pure love. That’s what awaits you…love. This is good news! This brilliant spirit in heaven will show you what love feels like. In turn, you must then love yourself just as much, and then love others the same.
You don’t have to die, to learn from your Creator. You don’t have to wait for the death of the body to realize all that you could have done while on this earth. If the brilliant light teaches us anything it’s that we must be love, and be the best person we can be while we are here.
Death is not dark. The tunnel is dark. Death is a brilliant light of warmth, and kindness, and love. Death of the body is a transition to the spirit which is inside each and every one of us. We truly are spirits.
You have gifts and talents, and you have love. Do what your brilliant spirit would teach you to do, and do it now. The being at the end of the tunnel is your best friend. There is nothing to fear.
