Deny me not

The warmth of your embrace.

Shy not away

From my gentle caress.

Hide not from me

The love in your eyes.

Lay your fears

Upon my feet

And place your hand in mine.

From this day on

Together shall we walk

And no dark clouds

Shall keep the sun from warming our hearts.

Untitled

I could die today

And you wouldn’t care.

I could lay down my life for you

And you wouldn’t care.

I could go to the end of the earth and back

And you wouldn’t care.

What must I do to be noticed by you?

Please tell me

For my heart is on fire

And I yearn to hold you in my arms.

Untitled

Even in the shadows

I can see the light,

When I am looking through the eyes of true love.

The Promise

In the house of the Lord

They promise

To run hand in hand in the sun and in the rain.

They promise

To share their laughter and their tears.

They promise

To make a home

And decorate it with colour and light.

They promise

To make their dreams reality.

They promise

To carry each other over the sea.

They promise

To cherish their love forever.

They promise

To live and die together.

Untitled

Ships that once went sailing,

Words that once were spoken,

Hope that once was given,

All for love did live.

Such a Wonderful Existence

Oh, fair maiden

So radiant is your beauty.

Such captivating eyes you posses.

Such an enchanting smile lightens your face.

Such beautiful golden hair falls gently down your shoulders.

Beauty as such has never been seen before.

Lovely as you are

I feel you belong to me,

Yet I know I must share you.

You waltz around that white building

In your white dress

With your red smile.

And I

From a small distance

Love you!

Love

Love, a rose

It's every petal precious

Its beauty is captivating

And its aroma is dazzling.

It whispers your name in the wind

And it embraces you

Like an Angel would.

Love Was Once A Rose

Love was once a rose

With silk petals

That so gently did unfold.

But time went by

And the rose lost all of her beauty

So love became a painful thorn.

The darkness of a never ending night

Captured the roses' beauty

And kept her beauty imprisoned in a dark dungeon.

But the thorn

Could not take the place of the rose forever

For the rose never gave up,

For the rose never did submit herself.

So from the thorn, the rose was reborn

And all of her beauty was restored.

And as I look

At that one and only rose

I realise that I must protect her

From ever becoming a thorn again,

And to do that

I know I must love forever.

Love unites

Even if

Time and space

Keep us apart

Love will always bring us together.

Untitled

Love is an emotion,

A beautiful one

That joins two souls

Until they become one.

Untitled

Distances mean nothing

To those who truly love.

The right path will always be chosen

When guided by love’s brilliant light

And every hardship can be born

Through love’s iron strength.

Days in the Sun

Days in the sun

Were days out of the rain,

The rain that I felt in my mind,

The rain that could drown out all of my dreams,

The rain that would leave me without hope.

Days in the sun were very few

But each one was precious.

Days in the sun were all the days that I spent with you.

Untitled

Do I not know

The sound of each sigh?

The feel of each touch?

The scent of each flower?

I am not of this world,

Do I not walk on these roads,

Am I not a man?

So why will you not turn to me,

When you are hurting?

Why can you not love me

The way I love you?

Why do you not share your light with me

And force me to dwell in darkness?

Untitled

I’ve loved for days

And I’ve loved for months and years,

But I have never loved forever

For I was always meant to be with you

And a cruel fate took you away from me

Before I did ever have you.

Untitled

I would give my own life,

My own soul,

Just for one more moment

With you.

One moment

That would fit the eternity

I had hoped to spend with you.

Untitled

I go to sleep, and I think of you,

I wake up in the morning, and I think of you,

I laugh, and I think of you,

I cry, and I think of you.

I look at the stars

Knowing that you are also looking

At the same stars.

I miss you

And I need you,

More than my next breath of air.

But you have gone and left me,

Because I didn't love you enough.

But now I love you more than anything else in the world.

But it is too late.

You will not come back again

And I will always know that I am to blame

For you not being here with me.

Broken Heart

It has been a while since I have written,

It has been a while since I have expressed myself,

With the written word

My joys and sorrows told.

Now I do not write

For my hands hurt,

My hands hurt

For my heart hurts,

My heart hurts

For you broke it.

The Parting

Darkness clouds my vision

And I feel my body floating away.

My essence is slowly leaving its mortal coil

And I look upon all dear to me

For the very last time.

With my final breath I sigh your name

And my eyes water with tears.

For the life I’ve lived

Happy I am,

But for leaving you behind

My heart does break.

So ‘till we meet again my love,

When I can be whole again,

When you are in my arms again.

For this moment I’d wait for an eternity.

Untitled

Who has loved

But not been hurt?

Who can say

That they are in love, but not in pain?

Love is pain

For you give all of your love

Expecting nothing in return

But hoping for everything.

Untitled

The love I feel for you

Could not be compared

To all of the stars in the night sky.

Untitled

Every moment with you is magical

And every moment apart from you is pure hell,

And since you are no longer with me

All I can feel is the burn of the flames.

Untitled

If I could sing,

I’d sing your name.

If I could paint,

I’d paint the world in the colour of your soul.

If I could fly

I’d fly to the skies above and collect every star for you.

If you asked me to lay down my life for you,

Then without one moment’s hesitation I would

And die with a smile upon my lips.

Untitled

My heart is on fire

From the depth of my desire

That your mere presence does inspire

Making me believe that I could reach no higher

Than the heaven I found in your arms.

Untitled

Twilight is upon us

And midnight soon approaches

But dawn is hours away

And in those magical hours

Between dusk and dawn

I shall worship you in my arms

And whisper to you

Sweet nothings and heartfelt sighs.
