Untitled

If it were but words

That dangled themselves before me,

Would I not still have the strength to stand?

Or do words too

Have the power to make me tremble before them?

Is shelter an option?

Or is there no shelter from the harshness of a cruel word?

Untitled

Dark is the night,

Harsh are your words,

Cruel are your intentions.

Turn not from me now,

For I have already seen

The very essence of your being,

Hide not in the shadows,

For I do but know well

Your heart and soul and all that is you.

Untitled

Look not at me

With your eyes,

But see me with your heart.

Touch me not

With your fingertips,

But embrace me in your arms.

Know not me

By the way I appear to you,

But perceive me with your emotions.

Speak not to me

With words,

But find me in dreams.

I can not be seen in this world

So seek me in another.

Untitled

The sky was covered with darkness

As it had been for years,

Because of the unwritten law

That the sun must not shine,

That there must be no light.

But if you should carefully look

You would be able to see something red

Trickling through the streets

And if you look even closer

You would see that it is blood.

Poem of the Dead

Monday is a day for sleeping

Tuesday is the same

Wednesday does not differ

Thursday is rather alike

Friday is very close

Saturday comes to change nothing

And Sunday

I am still asleep.

Untitled

Poet by day

And poet by night,

Poet among the masses.

I shall forever cry for the poet among the masses.

The one that differs,

Yet is never noticed,

The one that constantly wanders

Among the blood stained streets.

Darkness Within Us

Darkness within us

Death to us all

For we are not worthy of life.

Let our screams break the silence,

Let our blood feed the earth,

Let our brains fill the holes,

Let our hearts fertilise the earth,

Let our souls burn in Hell,

Let us suffer.

Death to us all.

Let us not see the light of another day.

Death to us all.

I Want to Die

If I had blood on my hands

You would know

What I had done.

Yet I wonder

If you would truly understand,

For I have deprived someone of their most important right,

The right of life.

Do you really understand

The harm that I have done?

One is many.

But if you kill me

They will not come back again,

They are gone forever.

Although I say that,

I know I must go.

Goodbye...

Mistaken Betrayal

That tragic moment

When you said:

'I love you',

I cried.

I cried for I knew

That for what I had done

I would loose your love forever.

Desperate to gain your love

I was blinded by jealousy

And acted on it.

I made a terrible mistake

And then

As I desperately tried to explain

I heard a knocking at the door

And then I knew,

I really knew

That the end was soon to come.

The knocking sounded so slow,

Yet it was so fast,

For my ears were playing tricks on me

By the order of my mind.

And now,

Before your startled eyes, which to me spell out the end,

Before the laws of justice, which to me mean the end,

I cry

And my tears burn me.

Cemetery

Here, I stand

Lost for words

Before the sight of Death.

There is no living human being

And since a soul can not be captured

I am left with disintegrating bodies,

Skin, flesh, bones and a putrid stench.

Six feet underground

Hidden from living eyes.

Resting, would be my natural thought,

But my macabre thought

Shall lead me to believe

That they are planning to escape

And I believe I shall be their first victim.

Ah, yes.

Now I clearly remember,

It was Monday, in December.

It was the first time

I visited a cemetery.

Untitled

In the valley of darkness

And the kingdom of hate

Live all men.

There is no sun in the morning

And no moon at night.

Nothing is heard

Other than the trickling of blood,

And no words are spoken

Other than the curses of those who truly hate.

The others shall be

The forever prisoners,

The forever blind that can see.

What I did

I looked in the mirror

And I wondered who I was looking at,

Yet it was only the reflection of me.

I looked at my hands

And I thought that hands could do so much good,

Yet mine only...

I looked at my feet

And thought that children like to run and play

Yet I used mine only to run away.

I looked at my mouth

And thought that so many people use their mouths to laugh

Yet mine was never opened for such use.

I saw blood

Many times,

Yet every time it scared me.

I heard crying

Many times,

Yet every time it made me go mad.

I felt no guilt

For what I had done,

Yet I always had nightmares.

I created so many widows and orphans

Yet I continued as if I didn't care.

I needed to survive,

So that it what I did.

No one understood me,
Yet every condemned me.

That is my story,
And now I am dead.

Untitled

Although you plan to murder

You accidentally kill.

Some people you target

And make certain of their death,

But others are mere victims

And still lose their lives.

For we are all pawns

In the great game that you play.

Oh, Lord!

Why do you hate us this way?

Untitled

I saw perhaps a killer,

A killer in your ways,

It seems I've been looking at a murderer

All of these days.

I know not how you started,

I know no how you will end,

All I know is of the danger

That lurks at every bend.

You seem to be so normal,

Even angelic from time to time,

But we both know what horrors

You hide in your catastrophic mind.

It seems so strange,

Ironic too

For both me and you,

That certainty should come to my mind

Just as you set upon taking my life

While you surprisingly find

Nothing but the devil in me

Just as you die from my treacherous hand.

Untitled

Look to the sky,

Sorrow for me,

Sorrow for you,

For all that we once knew.

My eyes do tear

And yours do too

Having said goodbye to all that we knew.

Look not to the past,

It will not return.

Look into the future,

It is to come.

Untitled

Could it be

That I am lost

In a world of missed opportunities,

Caught in a storm of raging emotions,

Trapped within the boundaries of my own mortal coil.

Every waking moment I do pray

That I may break free,

And like a bird soar high,

Higher still, until Heaven I reach.

An Ode To Blood

Coursing through our veins

Sometimes as cold as ice

And sometimes fiery hot

But always radiating life.

Red as a poppy in a field

Or lava exploding from a volcano within.

Bitter as iron

But sweet as honey too.

As it flows, so does life too

And when it flows no more, so does life cease too.

Untitled

Thoughts that took me nowhere,

Paths that ended at the door of despair

And whispers on the wind that taunted mine ears

All did drag me to the ground

And crumble my being to dust.

Untitled

The memories of leaves

That to the ground fell,

The echoes of long forgotten

Days in the sun,

Reminders of times gone by,

Haunting each waking moment

And stealing precious moments

From a now uncertain future.

Untitled

Beneath a pale moon

We plot and scheme,

Our own demise we do plan

With each action and inaction,

With each pointless word and each silence,

With hope and despair.
