Foreword
Let me begin by saying thank you for reading my book. I will explain what this book is and what it is not. This book is not trying to be an accurate accounting exercise in number references or any data type because I am not here trying to argue anything as fact. I am not trying to prove facts or build a case or callout specific incidents. Corruption exists and my solution cures it at the root, so specifics do not matter. This book also is not some great tome of unimaginable length. I value your time.
This book is not political in any sense of the term. I will not be calling out any specific persons or advocating for any party line or agenda.
My motivation for this book is to eventually realize an equal playing field for the people of the United States, no matter their color, creed, political view, or what have you. This book is about the system we live in and how unbalanced it is in the favor of the wealthy, powerful, and greedy that steal the wool right from under our eyes and expects us to take it because we as individuals may not have the fiscal ability to respond. And unless we have a powerful voice to influence the system, we are all screwed.
What I am trying to do is offer a solution to a huge problem we face as a UNITED people. That problem is special interest and big money funding [now they are allowed to donate with anonymity – a no limit Texas Hold Em’ game] making it possible to have foreign entities influencing the outcome of our elections, thereby, threatening our sovereignty. Not good. I cannot stress enough how important that is. If we succumb somehow to a new world order or universal government, we will truly become indentured automatons to a system designed to keep us in line, their line. I believe that we can most definitely repair our system and do it quite easily and peacefully.
This book carries a message of peace for the masses out there who are scared, scarred, traumatized, anxious, stressed, depressed, sick, injured, abandoned, orphaned, or any other state that comes with being the broke and hopeless. This book is for those whom are tired of being broke and sad, tired of being afraid, tired of being hopeless while the privileged few build even more wealth on the atrophy of the middle class. Please do not take those statements as me being against wealthy people. This book is for everyone who is concerned about corruption and secret influences plaguing our democratic republic. I intend this book to lift up those who have little to the level of those who have escaped being the average Joe. If you are fantastically wealthy please read on to find out how you may contribute the spread of this message for the ideals of equality, liberty, and prosperity, and most of all: peace and mercy.
I wrote this document to have real effects and ideally change the world. Yes, change the world. Is this the noblest of efforts? Not really. I am just tired of being pushed around by the whole system. It just doesn't work for everyone, just a few. Civil society cannot operate that way. I have experience of seeing how deals go down, I have seen the silver spoon and I have seen the breadline so to speak. The mere fact than any misuse of our government exists is enough to foster change to save the future wellbeing of humankind. I refuse to let cheats and greedy bastards ruin humanity just because they have egos with deep pockets and they want to control everything. These barnacles have multiplied and are sinking the ship, folks. I have a way to scrape those barnacles from the hull and get the ship sailing on to calmer, clearer waters.
I will be speculative in some areas. This book is based completely upon my opinion on how we may fix our problems and begin to stabilize our government and economy. I am not aiming to debate facts. We all know what the roots of our problems are: Lobby and corporate takeover of the policy agenda of a nation for, of, and by the PEOPLE. It's time to stop consenting to be governed.
The average American has no recourse because they are not wealthy and important power brokers. Our government is riddled with greed and corruption. I have a solution to our problems. The APD or American Polling Device [formally named AVDEV-American Voting Device] would create a lobby of all registered legal voters by giving them a cellular device on which to vote on legislation before it comes up for a vote in Washington. All legislation would be presented in simple language explaining what each proposed bill is. The device would be secure and unique to each voter. The votes would be counted in real time allowing a public true poll to accurately display the true voice of the American electorate. It would force elected officials to listen to us, not just tell us what we want. It would hold them accountable in a mass public forum, the lobby of the people, enough to compete with big money lobbies. Alas, our tragic hero:
Joe. I am Joe. You are Joe. Joe is everything I mentioned above, except for those who have financial independence, they are no longer Joe, they become part of something entirely different, for they do not have the same bleak issues to deal with. Money isn't the ultimate answer, but having lots of it helps. So welcome fiscal giants and wizards of industry, read along and help free a nation and change the world!
Our next character playing the role of big business is Fasces, the corporate mechanism that influences our government. I would also equate the Federal Reserve to something similar because of the lack of total transparency to the American Joe. The idea that private conglomerates of banks rule our money really scares me and it should scare you too. A few of our fore fathers warned us about the centralized banking system and the control of the credit of the United States. I'll side with Jefferson, thank you. Also I intend not to display every big business as some evil wretched entity of mass control. And sometimes I do. Some business and people are part of the whole system and may not even know it.
Then it's time to party with Party. Party is the two-headed beast that we call left and right, blue and red, you get the idea. Party has built itself a wonderful system in which it never loses. Fasces helps Party to win and then Fasces pays our next buddy to make Party keep the promises they made during the campaign, oh yeah, just not for Joe.
Ah, then we have our special pal Lobby. Lobby is a rich and powerful promoter. Lobby is our character that portrays the checkbook for Machine. Lobby is the temptation of money and longevity of incumbency for our character Party. If you want Party to forge policy, you must send Lobby to town and get Party started! It's a bunch of fun at this party, where money seems to grow on trees.
Of course, we need to have a messenger to deal with all of us Joe's and tell us what our ideas are and how we will do it. We someone to set the daily public agenda, Extra-Extra is our esteemed courier.
So what do all of them have in common? They are the cogs that drive our most powerful actor, Machine. Machine is well oiled and pampered. Machine is the amalgam of all of the above, acting as the wellspring that makes the hearts of the wealthy happy. Now, isn't that sweet? Machine stands between we Joe's and the level playing field where we have the opportunity to achieve stability and happiness.
The wealthy I speak of are those parts of Machine who know what they are doing is harmful to Joe but go ahead and do it anyway. I am speaking of the wealthy, driven by greed and power, that have no interest in the damage they do to others while gaining their abundant resources; mainly money. If you are wealthy and have achieved your egg by ethical means and share the fruit to better those around you: I praise you. I give you much respect. We need more who have a spine enough to be fair and honest.
Machine, we are ready to compete with you. We will extend a calm goodbye as we open the windows and let the sunshine in!
Now, on with our adventure, Joe’s!

Meet me in the lobby
Americans hunger for involvement in our government, but the problem is there exists no avenue for the majority of American citizens to really understand or be involved directly in the workings of that government designed to be OF, FOR, and BY the PEOPLE.
The average American, let's call him Joe, makes $12k-$30k and just wants to be comfortable and happy (There are those above that bracket who are hurting too and they need help and protection just the likewise, those numbers are just my speculation). Joe just wants to live without fear of being on the streets, hungry, and even worse with kids and broke!
Millions start and end their days with anxiety and the fear that they are just one paycheck from ultimate doom. Now, Joe, our buddy, continues about his day, hoping to provide for his family, focuses on his job, pays his bills, and tries to sneak in some fun somewhere, if he can afford it. It's rare and usually is a guilty pleasure because Joe cannot afford it.
Joe doesn't think about how he can influence Washington to meet his needs. Joe votes every two years. He votes for whomever he believes has the platform to advance his agenda of having a decent living he can be proud of. Joe votes for what he believes in. Joe votes for a bum. Every time. I am Joe. You are Joe. We are all Joe. Joe gets disappointed when his candidate does nothing to better his place in life as he/she promised in their campaign.
Joe doesn't want a handout. Joe is a workaholic. He wants the playing field to be fair, even though he knows it is not. Joe gets pissed every two years. Joe has no recourse. Joe is a Joe. Joe is not Lobby in the natural scheme of things.
The days of prosperity for Joe are gone. Joe is cheap labor, struggles to make it, cannot really move about town [save gas Joe! -- well if you are lucky enough to have a car], confined to his house, options limited, stressed, anxious, depressed. Joe kisses his children and smiles, Joe never lets his kids feel the pinch if he can help it. Joe hopes he is healthy enough to live to an age where he knows his kids are self-sufficient. Otherwise Joe's family is in serious danger.
Machine likes it when Joe is compliant and stressed, Machine loves the leverage he has against Joe, Machine owns, I am sorry let me rephrase that: employs Joe. Machine pays Joe just enough to keep him motivated and hungry to be compliant for fear of termination. Machine knows Joe has a family. Machine has power. Machine sets policy. Machine prints money. Machine sets taxes. Machine sets the rules for the playground and is also the biggest kid out there. Joe is a mere speck. Machine controls Joe. Machine has stockholders and donors to cater to the other cogs of the gears that enable and feed Machine.
Now, I am not claiming that Machine is nefarious all the time. I am claiming that Machine likes the system it has going. Machine makes lots of money when the economy sucks. Machine loves the process. Machine doesn't care Jack Squat for Joe. Joe is insignificant and no match for Machine's fiscal arsenal. Joe is in the gladiator arena weaponless and hands tied behind his back and Machine enters in full battle gear, glory and all. Joe is struck down to pieces, even if there was a hundred million Joe's, Machine wins. What possible recourse does Joe have? NONE. Joe is broke and alone in his quest – he has his vote though. That is his weapon, his vote, the mighty key to the American dream, right? WRONG.
Joe's vote is controlled by the two-headed beast we call Party. Party is red and blue and that's all she wrote. I will talk about Party later, but for now, Party is Joe's worst nightmare, but Joe has no another options because Party is the only dance Machine allows Joe to attend. Red or Blue. Left or Right. Joe is captured. He is the battery that powers Machine, but Machine never allows Joe operate or drive. All the millions of Joe's move the Machine, but Party dictates the operation of Machine and Machine follows orders well. Machine doesn't crush the hand that oils it. Remember, Machine is Party, Lobby is Party, Party is Fasces and according to logic, that makes them all one in the same and interchangeable.
A big problem that Joe has is that he cannot view the inner working gears of Machine. Machine keeps its metabolism secret and under lock and key. Machine knows Joe's metabolism, Machine knows Joe's habits, likes /dislikes, wants and needs, Machine has Joe labeled and ready for retail. Machine has convinced Joe that it works for him, meanwhile Machine engineers the world for its benefit and spits out nothing but failed products for Joe one after another, and Joe never realizes that he needs to start shopping elsewhere.
What if Joe had an option? What if Joe could throw a wrench into the gears and stop Machine from running his life and determining his future. But, how can he do it? Remember Joe is a lone individual. He may contribute $5 a year to his favorite clone of Party. To Party that is a drop in the hat. Party loves the wads of big cash Machine produces. Not the little Joe’s. Look at where a Party candidate’s money comes from and you will know whose side they are on, in plain sight! We all know, but we vote for them anyway! Machine has huge powerful gears that are well funded and motivated to create the power necessary to confiscate most of all the Joe's money supply. But what if Joe decided that he no longer wished to be plugged into Machine, feeding its voracious appetite for money and power?
The amounts of money spent in the past ten years on elections have been astronomical. I am not a here to quote data or give exact amounts as I told you before. I am certain anyone who reads this book has a basic understanding of the amount of money spent to influence policies for special reasons. Those reasons are 99.9% of the time not for the benefit of democracy or the mass of people who make up a majority of our population. Rather, in the past ten years we have seen a huge increase in the amount of wealth leaving the middle class or basically just about everyone except the 3%-5% that control a whopping 25%-33% of the nations wealth. I am sure those numbers are not dead on, but remember I am not here to quote exact data, I am not trying to prove anything or layout a natural law to the physics community. The Supreme Court recently made it legal for anonymous donations without limit. It would be logical for you to be excited by that ruling if you are appendage of Machine and/or Party. It greases the gears that drive Machine under the guidance of Party's agenda and the fiscal gunships of Lobby and Fasces and the messenger Extra-Extra.
Lobby feeds Party with money to modify policies on behalf of Fasces, which in turn pays Extra-Extra to deliver whatever message they think Joe wants to hear. Joe must accept the final product, for he has no other options. He is limited by Machine. Machine tells Joe who Party is. Joe gets to pick one of Party clones. Party continues to deliver failed policy after failed policy. Party tells Joe through Extra-Extra what his issues of the day are and decides what is important to him. Joe must accept those choices because he has no others.
What if Joe is tired of complying? What can Joe do? Can he become violent, only to be crushed by the physical power of Machine? Machine is military might. Joe, no, Joe, there will be no rising up for Joe in his quest for equality.
Joe has very little funds to compete for Party's attention already occupied by Lobby. Lobby spends Fasces’ money to defeat Joe's interests and stability. When Joe is broke, depressed, and hopeless, he is easy to group together and bind, making Joe the battery power that Machine uses without benefit to Joe. That, my dear Joe, is tyranny. That, my fellow Joe, is Fascism. That, my brother/sister Joe’s, is not rule by the consent of the governed. YOU ARE BEING HOODWINKED BY MACHINE. Lobby fuels Joe's destruction.
So how does Joe compete? Is that even a possibility? We know Joe is just one Joe. Joe has a few bucks, maybe. Joe is busy trying to live. Machine operates 24/7/365. Now don't misunderstand Lobby. Lobby has the constitutional right to redress its government. So does Joe. But remember, most of us Joe's cannot travel to Party in Washington and feed them dollars. We Joe's just get to vote, vote for Machine's agents. And Party, Lobby, and Fasces and Extra-Extra were all once Joe's, but Machine has a soothing sound as it churns, lulling Joe's into its spells and absorbing him into the collective.
How does Joe even attempt to compete in the marketplace if Party, Lobby, Fasces, and Extra-Extra are already hand in hand with huge sums of money they robbed from Joe throughout the years? Joe simply cannot.
Simple answers are usually the best and most accurate and what is apparent is that Machine's interests and Joe's interests are not the same. But Joe must comply. Small Joe businesses are dwindling, the numbers of Joe’s working at the factory are dwindling. Joe's running small companies are dwindling. Joe cannot compete. A few Joe's get lucky and are smart enough to elevate their stature, but a huge majority of Joe's just will never be able to muster the resources to become free. Liberty and freedom work well when the playing field is equal and fair. But Joe is playing on a field created, governed, broadcast, and funded by Machine.
How does Joe level the playing field and demand equality for the guaranteed right to pursue those endeavors to secure his prosperity and liberty? Machine tells Joe that when he votes or donates he's involved, writes a letter, signs a petition, attends a town hall meeting, or makes a call, “Joe, you're making a real difference!” IT'S COMPLETE BULLSMUT! YOU ARE JUST FEEDING MACHINE.
The problem we have is that we must write letters, sign petitions, and make calls to achieve the solution I have laid out. Without public outcry, we will remain static, thus, we continue to fuel Machine. We must be motivated to fix our own problems, grant our own miracles if you will. We need to be proactive. As frustrating or tiring as politics can be, that is how Machine designs it to be: adding to the heavy load when you are already tired and occupied by other responsibilities that keep you away from being informed of Machine’s agenda. If you wish to be able to take a rest and enjoy life any time in the near future, you should be prepared to sacrifice some time to doing the actual “work” of knocking, calling, and emailing. If we do those frustrating tasks to save democracy and liberty and apply what I believe is the solution to our serfdom, we will enjoy the fruits of our sacrifice for a long time into the future. I believe this wholeheartedly.
We Joe's MUST unplug from Machine and assert our guaranteed/constitutional right to consent to be governed according to the constitution. Now I am not saying that Machine operates outside the constitution, it may at times, but it does indeed operate within the confines of the law. Machine just has the power to operate in its fullest sense and take advantage of all its loopholes, well, because they set them up also. We need a proactive solution to our problems, and I believe I have found it.

Can you hear me now new boss, who's the same as the old boss?
Most people believe that Party doesn't hear them. We Joe's attempt to take part in our process, we vote, we attend town halls, we write emails, make calls, write letters, you name it, we Joe's have done it. We sweat, we cry, we yell, we cheer. We Joe's put huge efforts into making democracy work. We work at it so it perpetuates and grows to become the ultimate land of freedom. The sad fact of the matter is that now matter how hard we Joe's work together to practice democracy, we somehow seem to fail every time. We continue to send Party our money to fill the coffers of Machine, another tax of sorts. We receive very little in return for the sweat of our brows. It is very sad.
We cheer and support Party candidates that speak of the issues we find relative to our lives and then we ultimately vote for them, casting our trust and hopes into Party's arms for safe keeping. We are continually let down, lied to, disrespected, betrayed, hoodwinked, wronged, embarrassed, humiliated, and saddened, left hopeless. All that work, whatever money we could spare we gave. To what end?
Joe is only presented with two options: Party or Party. Extra-Extra makes sure of that, which we will discuss later. As Lobby fixes a chokehold upon Party, Fasces is busy driving policy choices to protect and grow their wealth at the expense of poor Joe. Party tells Joe that Fasces needs to be bailed out of their mistakes and Extra-Extra steps in to make sure Joe has the proper message. Oh, no, Joe is very upset. Joe takes to the streets in protest for all to see, hoping Extra-Extra will take up the cause for the people. Extra-Extra shows up and sells t shirts and messages of fear and hatred and even some revisionist histories of why one side of Party is the bad guy and their paid support of the other side of Party is the good guy. Machine is well oiled. Machine churns the gears and moves always to its objective to control and leech the wealth right out of Joe. Machine doesn't hear Joe's query for change and equality. Not even a whisper of it!
Party is one coin with two sides that is essentially the same in their process. Now, not all of Party is bad. Remember some of them were Joe's at one time. Machine makes sure that Party remains the same to perpetuate the money and power. Any new Party coins are cast aside. Extra-Extra ignores those new Party coins and begins the spin labeling them crazy, communists, socialists, neo-cons, or whatever they can drum up.
Joe remains voiceless election after election, more and more of what little resources Joe has gathered only become a new entry on the accounting sheets of the wealthy. Money talks and Joe walks because Joe is broke. When Joe is depressed he is an easy target. He is moldable, gullible, and controlled. Joe is a robot created by Party. Joe must comply, Machine has structured the debate, the issues, the message, and future, and most of all: the money.
I understand that this is generalized. But what I am saying isn't anything that any Joe isn't already thinking or feeling. These things I am saying are evidenced by what Machine does. I have no need to prove beyond a reasonable doubt my opinion there is no court in these pages. I know, you know, we all know we are being robbed, have been robbed and will continue to be robbed. Every election we beg Machine to stop robbing us, they promise they won't, they smile and wink, shoot you a thumb's up. God Bless the USA! Wow. It works every time.
We know we Joe's are being robbed, but we also know there isn't anything we can do about it. Machine sees us Joe's as little children bouncing up and down, throwing a tantrum, crying, kicking and screaming for change and equality. Machine continues to chew us up, not enough to swallow us, but just enough to keep the pain readily available, keep us working those cheap jobs so we can cater to Machine by delivering what their dirty money can buy, we nod, “yes sir, yes ma'am, I'm sorry your soup only has six shrimp sir, oh I'm fired for that, yeah six shrimp, how am I going to feed my kids?” Machine needs controlled disciplined cheap labor to tend to the menial tasks, the associates of servitude for the wealthy, forced forever into serfdom, the exact crap we left England for. What, really? Here it is! We are screaming foul, but the ref never throws the flag. Joe is bumming.
What if Joe's voice reached the ears of Party and Party listened to his strife in pursuit to elevate himself and have a secure livelihood? What if Joe could be heard 24/7/365? What if Party responded with prejudice to Joe's blight and actually repaired the marred and broken playing field. What if Joe could realize equal opportunity to compete? What if Joe woke up every morning with a smile on his face, stress free, and calm? Relaxed and confident that he and his little Joe's will be just fine. Joe is fine with being an average Joe. Joe doesn't need billions of dollars to define his life. Joe is the hero in all of us, waiting to be heard, waiting to be attended to, waiting for acknowledgement.
I don't believe the purpose of life is to perpetuate ignorant policies that regress us as a species. When I say progress, I intend not to align my views with the left side of Party. I use progress to relate to actual human progression as a species wherein no one goes hungry, no one is derelict of education; and equality and liberty are realized by all of us Joe’s. We have the resources and wherewith all to tackle these issues to transform society into one where quality of life is guaranteed as a member of a species. Machine cannot handle that load and could not compete if everyone was liberated from poverty and discrimination. Party has a cycle of funds every two years and it only grows. Time is in Machine’s corner. Money makes time here on Earth.
How does a Joe, such as you or me, gain a voice to contribute an idea to compete against a power dug in so deep and established in its operation? Machine quiets the voices with the use of labels. Labels such as: political, sexual, religious, ethnic, class, education, appearance, occupation, etc. They have the power to name us in a sense, the ultimate serfdom, where Machine names you. We are given labels to divide us into groups so we fight about social issues and sling mud even violence. They love it. When the Joe's are in conflict they are distracted from the scene of the crime. Machine operates outside of our perceived realities.
Machine weaves Joe's fabric of reality by limiting his choices and resources. Joe gets taxed to death, over and over, audited and pressured to pay more, he can't fight and Machine knows it. Joe hasn't the money for an attorney, so what does Joe do? He complies. Joe MUST COMPLY. I hope this is sinking in and I hope now you are getting upset and riled up to take action and demand real governance as promised and guaranteed.
Joe's all over the nation rely on representatives and senators to voice their will and make choices that we can't make because we aren't there or privy to the conversation. I can assume that 80% or so of the Joe's have no idea what is on the legislative docket upcoming. How many times do you check congress and see what they are voting on? Do you really know what Party is doing outside what you see on TV or the web? It may surprise you to know that they really get nothing substantive accomplished. (That's a joke BTW). They produce legislation and Extra-Extra tells us it works or it doesn't, but they control the message. How are we Joe's suppose to have the time and resources to be involved enough in our government to a level where we can actually pressure our congress to do our will from an educated position. When we know what is on the agenda and understand the proposals of policy, only then will we have a leg up the ladder to be able to topple Machine. Hey, that sounds pretty good right? Nope. Not yet anyway. We need a way to put that involvement and awareness of Party into a proactive consolidated voice to be effective. But first, let's do some time travel and get nostalgic...

Yankee Doodle Distance
Let's take Joe back in time to the early days of the United States: we have the constitution, we have government setup with congress and judiciary, and we have a president. Joe is witnessing the birth of ideals to liberate individuals by granting them natural rights given to them by their creator, nature, God, or whatever you believe. The population is fractions of 2010. People are spread out. A centralized federal government makes having a direct democracy impossible. Why? Distance. Having all the Joe's in Washington to cast individual votes was way too chaotic and inefficient. We already knew that because thousands of years ago, the Romans had the same republican ideas and knew that true democracy would be unattainable. So what did they do? They chose representatives to make choices for a specific group relevant to them. So do we. Because 300 million Joe's in Washington just isn't plausible. Representative government works well when the representatives actually represent the Joe's.
1776 was not such a long time ago, but we have made exponential strides in technology; those times seem almost barbaric. Party still lives old fashioned and outdated. Party operates as it did back then. Party has yet to upgrade to reflect the times. Someone tell Mr. Franklin that we are not utilizing technology to make Party work better for Joe and he would be pissed. Wow, what a concept: science to further the human cause of peace and liberty. Unreal, huh? Such aspirations Ben had.
Can someone tell us Joe's why there hasn't been anything done to bring the old Party ship into harbor and remake it so it may sail better than before? Because when an individual’s rights overshadow those of Machine, poverty diminishes, hunger diminishes, or Joe gets a job or opens a business. Machine doesn't like that. Machine wants us Joe's to be where we are now. Cheap labor is the American Joe.
How could Joe possibly gather the resources to compete with Machine? When the individual's will is recognized and counted and officially and dutifully executed by Party official on behalf of Joe by means of a representative vote. The added plus to my solution is that elected officials are going to be accountable to the TRUE voice of the electorate.
To be heard in the founding days Joe could attend town hall meetings, gather comfortably, and send his official to represent him, by horse, foot, or buggy. A few days journey, maybe a week or two. Joe's small numbers enabled them to know and be heard by their congressman. Today, as we well know, not so much. Remember that the constitution is designed to adaptable to time, and that time is now.
Today, we do not have a mobility problem, but we definitely have a population constraint, there just isn’t enough room to fit 200 million voters in the heart of Washington D.C. We do not have a distance problem, we have a hearing problem. We are not being listened to. They could care less. Ah, but we have technology. And I have a plan. How do you fit 200 million Joe's in Washington? I know. But for now let's continue.
We update our computers to make them run better on our behalf. Why not the same with Party? Are you ready to eliminate Party and ultimately Machine and all in between? Yes? Yes.
I wish to be clear about what I intend when I say eliminate. I intend to say that we remove the corruption, fraud, and robbery by Machine in a peaceful revolution, a metaphorical death to the status quo. We do not even have to yell or scream!
To be able to accomplish this we must demand, yes demand, that our campaigners in 2012 support out efforts and pledge loyalty to the system I propose. The beauty is that our demand is really superficial, because we don't need them to agree or disagree when we have the power to control them, but we often refuse to stand up and use what we have already. We do not need their authorization to upgrade Party or fire Party, it is ours to do with as we please [within the confines of the law of course-we Joe's are upstanding], Party belongs to us Joe's. And that's that.

Extra-Extra, read all about it, well, what we engineered for you to read anyway, just not the truth....
I know it is not very kind to lump all facets/people of Extra-Extra into the character Extra-Extra. It is my book and I am not feeling very kind. Extra-Extra is complicit in the agenda of Party and Fasces. Fasces has the money and they pay big to advertise their wonderful products to all of us Joe's on Extra-Extra's airwaves. Did you notice during the republican presidential primary last cycle that Ron Paul was completely shut out of the debate, Anderson Cooper just ignored him, perpetuating the agenda of Party. Ron Paul is seen as a fringe guy, on the edge of madness and because he is a threat to Party, Fasces, and Lobby, Extra-Extra will damage his name and label him a nut job. They do this to anyone has no affiliation to Machine who tries to thwart its efforts. That entire night Cooper focused on McCain and Romney, Party sweethearts.
Extra-Extra seems to manufacture what they deem to be our issues and they claim they know what the American Joe wants because of election results. What a crock, right? Extra-Extra continues to cater to Party and to Fasces because they receive access and money. The never-ending battle between left and right is always good for a story.
Extra-Extra is supposed to be unaligned with Machine, but it has been hijacked. We Joe's do not have a Joe owned Extra-Extra outlet of our own that investigates and broadcasts from a purely neutral stance. To simply report the truth, no matter the consequence. That is gone to a degree. Those who are part of Extra-Extra know who they are and what they do to further the agenda of either side of Party. If you are watching the “news” on TV you are probably watching bullsmut flow like a river. Extra-Extra is definitely there to be an aid for censorship for what Machine wishes to be known and unknown. Look at wikileaks. There is a huge effort to shut it down, to censor the stupidity of the US government; to keep all the Joe's from knowing what they do.
I am not going to dwell too extensively on Extra-Extra, because it is not the focus of my quest to dispose of Machine because my solution is geared directly at congress. Extra-Extra will be refined by taking down Machine. I think we must realize that Extra-Extra is complicit in the daily operations and I think if you were to ask most Joe's they would agree that Extra-Extra is just as corrupt as the other pieces.
I understand and agree with what and why they do what they do. They must also operate in the confines given to them and they also have political interests. Some are even noble in their efforts to help Joe. Extra-Extra holds quite a bit of power and maybe even the key to it all in the grand scheme of things due to them having quite a large audience in which to present a message they control.
In a sense, they intend to operate for the good, and actually present unbiased real-time event news while they secure their political agendas in their opinion shows. I would never intend to rid the world of such biased driven opinion shows, they spark debate and create passion for causes. If people would be more informed and have a transparent government, the debates themselves would provide for a increasingly honest and intelligent discourse and heighten humanity to challenge itself to become beings of higher purpose than war, greed, and power of control. We should never even think of suppression of Extra-Extra, but we shouldn't stand for fraud either.
Extra-Extra in its purest sense is the lifeblood of society and with increases in technology, we will one day be processing data internally on our own nervous systems; we will become cyborgs in a sense, integrated nervous circuitry, eliminating the need for PC's, phones, you will be an organic hybrid, maybe not today, but not too far into the future either. With that kind of connectivity we must have reliable honest news/government that is for the Joe's and not pledged to Fasces through advertising dollars and kiss ass to Party that provides access.
Asking people questions brings us closer to the solution and why it is so important to ask a Joe how he/she feels about a certain issue and then document it and see how many Joe's answer the same way or differently. That brings us to the next step...

The stripper poll
56% of all Americans think taxes are too high.
42% of republicans believe Obama is foreign born.
These two claims are constructed by me and have no claim to reality whatsoever. They are made up, false, and completely irresponsible of me to say. Oh, by the way, I asked 500 people and 56% percent agreed taxes are too high, and those 500 were white, 100k earners, and had 3 kids, 3 cars, and nice pad. So obviously 56% of America thinks taxes are too high. Wow. Unreal. Polls strip down small pools of answers to report the feelings of a gigantic sea of people. How is that possible to be real? It cannot be.
These polls are what Party and Extra-Extra throw at you all day. I know they have science stating polling can predict outcomes. When you control the system, it is easy to forecast the outcome. The choices are only between two sides of Party! What if the playing field was fair and you had twenty options of Party? Hmmm. I think forecasting would be much harder. There are just too many variables to claim to know the heartbeat of a nation when you only ask a few molecules of it how the rest feels. Doesn't make sense, and if something doesn't make sense, it probably isn't true. Thank you Judge Judy. She says lays down that wisdom everyday. Let Judge Judy tell everyone in congress how the horse eats the cabbage and I guarantee they will run away scared half to death and crying for mercy.
These polls, these wonderful indicators of the will of the Joe's have a profound effect. I ask everyone if they pay attention to polling and they all say, “No. I don't pay attention to that crap.” Five minutes later they quote three or four polls that illuminate their favorite Party as the good guy/gal. Genius. The power of the head on the tube is intentional, right? Someone on TV said it, so it must be true. We are suckers. I am definitely including myself in that. I get hazy and do the same thing I just spoke of.
Extra-Extra is quite a force. Do not for a minute take the TV box as a simple harmless picture fun thing. The minute you allow the “news” in, oh boy, bring your bib for you are going to be fed quite well.
What if Joe could somehow gather an honest poll, secure, honest, transparent, counting all legal voters? What if then, our elected officials would see those poll numbers and Extra-Extra broadcast those poll numbers on TV and web in real time for the entire world to see? What then? How would that elected official start to act if he/she could see his/her district/state poll numbers on every policy issue that comes up for debate in the house or senate, even presidential policy? How would that agent of Party vote now, knowing the actual desire of all of us Joe's? Makes you wonder. Would that type of exposure create enough pressure to overcome Lobby and force transparency? What if all 180 million or so legal voters had a way to do such a thing?
The power of Party comes from the Joe's voting them into office, so it's all about position, as they say in real estate, location, location, and location. You can't benefit from Party power if you aren't elected. If once elected and now you know exactly how you constituents want you to vote and they know you know and you know the whole world knows, are you bold enough and prepared intellectually and honestly to vote against the will of we Joe's?
You see where I am going with this. I have figured out how we can overcome Machine and make it pay the bill. If we build it, they cannot control it. Now I will reveal the whole process, philosophy, and future of my solution for the betterment of this country and the world. You may think I am crazy, and soon you will realize that you are right.

Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the world
I believe that we measure the quality of society on how well it treats the least amongst us, the least healthy, and the least educated. You hear these awful opinion radio and TV shows tell you that the poor are the cancer of the world and they should not be able to have any handouts or help from government. They even believe there should be a literacy test to be able to vote legally. They despise the indigent. They spit on the sick. Machine has forces that do whatever they can to trick voters or scare them from even showing up at the polls.
There is no reason we cannot provide extremely low cost healthcare, energy, food, and services for everyone and make all the money any of us want to aspire to attain in a free market capitalist atmosphere, you need a free market to operate in a free market, we do not have a free market, we have MACHINE MARKET. We pay enough taxes over and over to pay for our nation to operate humanely for the benefit of those it is designed to protect. You remember, “Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!” Instead we operate at the behest of the wealthy, powerful, and greedy. We must comply. Not anymore. We now have an answer.
The idea that Machine allows companies to make huge profits off of energy sources is destructive to our economy. We have the technology to almost remove people from the grid and have them generate energy independently of the power companies. Being connected to the power grid would be only for the reasons to be able to sell energy back or as an emergency situation. Putting this type of energy system in the hands of the public at a low cost, make sure it’s built here in the USA, and you will see a huge influx of money available to households. Imagine not having a bill every month and maybe even sell some energy back. The government has the responsibility to make that happen with the technology we have. They find it okay to grant money and subsidies to power companies to provide energy the old fashioned way. So it would make sense to make the same investment, but rather than grant that money to power companies, grant the money to the American Joe and give them cheap clean energy that is renewable.
The taxes we pay should be able to suffice to be able to provide healthcare for those who cannot afford it or gain access to it. We are a supposed to be the most civilized and illuminated country in the world, but allow citizens to die because they are poor. We make that work. Why should some huge Fasces company run our healthcare for profit? Seriously it doesn’t make sense. Providing basic services is quite possible and providing quality affordable insurance to everyone is not far fetched nor does it need to be so expensive.
I have been pondering endless hours trying to figure the way to beat Lobby in Washington, as the common Joe, deficient of competitive funding sources. We know small groups of angry voters showing up at rallies and town halls just will not cut it. It takes a movement with a shovel to dig through government and Lobby bullsmut folks.
I figured out how we can take over the lobbying efforts in Washington: I asked myself, “Why can’t I have government in my pocket? I can communicate with everyone with my Blackberry, why not my government?” Yeah, we can write emails, letters, call, show up to town halls, to communicate our grievances or commendations (maybe one day). But the control over that information is not available to anyone except those who receive it. With all of our votes combined and tallied in public view for all to see, the message is then valid as a leading indicator of voter intent. When we are connected by our votes, we cannot be fooled, we can simply employ the power greater than any, our vote, and not cast it again for any official who does not produce action benefiting our interests, it is our turn to drive, not sit shotgun.
So, how do we do it? The American Polling Device or APD for short is what I call it. I figured that if each legally registered voter had their own small cellular device and had the entire legislative agenda both federally and locally with each proposed legislation summarized and explained, we would be able to operate huge leverage against Machine. We would have a network dedicated to the system and the vote counts would be public and each device would have biometrical security unique to the owner (fingerprint, retina scan, etc..).
The votes would be counted by groups of members from different demographics: citizens, universities and colleges, and the Extra-Extra. The device would email, text, and even print out (if you wish) the results of your vote. You would be able to vote on all policies before they come up for a vote in congress or state levels. Your elected officials would be able to see exactly how their constituents feel. Then they would have to decide how to tell the people they will not be voting they way their Joe's want them to. That is the idea of a representative constitutional republic. Joe's elect someone to go to Washington and vote how we want he/she to vote, not the way they want to.
I see the APD as a device to basically say, “put up or shut up, let's see your cards!” The meekest among the nation have never had much of say or influence and I guarantee that if you hear exactly how they feel, you will get a much different poll, uncontrolled by Machine, but a realistic view of American sensibility. I think we owe it to ourselves to explore what the possibilities are of such reform and transparency.
The game is rigged in Washington and we know it, we are tired of it and we can actually do something to thwart it. I figured we need a concentrated real-time indicator to make government listen to reason. When we own things, we tend to take care of them and we don’t mind spending smart money to invest in a 100% winner. We will be the winners this time around.
Lobby efforts will be drowned out by the wisdom of the people answering in unison. I figured out that if we can vote before the vote, to be heard by the ears of our elected, when the tally is public and real, they are forced into accountability to the will of the people. APD brings government into the future with complete respect for our republican democracy and the constitution that binds citizen and government.
The two parties have lost their way, they are caught up in their egos and the need to spend your money at will on their agendas and paybacks for monetary support to be elected into power. Where is the fruit of all their promised labor of reform, change; a better tomorrow? I am not eating it, and unless you are fabulously wealthy, then you aren’t either. Give up on them, for they have definitely left you out of the equation long ago.
Our influence will be in the public eye, a valid indicator of the will of the people, directing officials take notice and vote the will of the people, the lobby of liberty. We can have this peaceful revolution to rid Washington of Lobby strangleholds. Always follow the money and find the influence. We can finally have transparency, because we will be setting the tone, the way it was designed, to operate to protect the liberty of all Americans.
The APD will take the guesswork out of what the people want, eliminating biased polling and assumptions of party lines.
Let us take this cause to Washington, and let us revolt in peaceful measures with a collective voice of liberty and freedom from taxation. We can have this. APD will enable the American citizen to take control of the system designed to protect us.
Control the wealth of a free people and you control the government that enables their liberty to be a free people. Machine has been leading us by our neck to the chopping block for a long time. All of us have. The American citizen is taxed beyond belief to aid in this control, we fund their agenda of spending on things none us even care about or need. They tell us we need them, but we have no authority in their decisions, they use fear and panic to enable the control mechanisms that operate their agendas. The government has operated in its own world, outside of our control or witness. They lead us where they see fit. AND WE KEEP VOTING FOR THEM.
APD would be manufactured in the United States. All workers need to be Americans; no outsourcing. Placing manufacturing sites and data centers in strategically chosen locations to benefit the local economies of the hardest hit in the US will help alleviate unemployment and provide jobs in the private sector.
All states will have manufacturing plants and data centers to provide for their states, thereby employing and training their local workforce. They will be citizen operated as well, outside the confines of government intervention.
They cannot tell us we cannot have it, folks. If they try, and they will, to say, no, they will be exposed for what they really are and we will continue to vote for those who are in support of our will. Lets see how many elected officials will come out against us, they will say our system is just fine, you don’t need that, we hear you just fine! Hogwash! Do not listen. They do not have your interests at heart.
We can literally have government in the palm of our hands. The politicians are always claiming the private sector has the best ideas and are responsible for innovations, well, here we are! Just what you wanted: private sector control of government. We can bring this full circle folks, all the way, the people in charge as was intended, even the poorest among us, can become a giant of American enterprise: liberty for all. This can be you, it can be me, it can be all of us, but only if we shed the robes of partisan divisions and unite in a common cause, the message of liberty and peaceful revolution, and the technical innovation of the voice of the people. Make a stand and revolt in peace.
APD will allow you to choose to be the creator of your liberty with free choices in a stable economy, fair in free market principles, peaceful in prosperity. This is what we agreed to in our constitution, the general welfare of the nation, domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, and secure the Blessings of liberty. These are the introductory ideals the constitution strives to bond citizen and government to co-exist as one unit, a free people, self-governed in a republic, equal in person, with no title of bloodline or right. In other words: Americans. Just think, we have never realized the America I am speaking of, hundred years of taxation and not all Americans have been free before the taxes, so now we can realize the liberty intended for all of us.

They will devise every attack against us in our cause of liberty and freedom to protect their wealth and power. We will become the crazies, the kooky, and the insane because we want liberty and the promises of the constitution.
Yes, we are nuts, if being nuts is the yearning for freedom and prosperity, then, yes we are! Imagine the accountability elected officials would have if we all could cast a vote and everyone knows what it is, just look up the website, turn on the TV, look at your APD, we all know what the vote is, no wiggle room there. No Extra-Extra spin, no controlling of the message. It’s out in the open, shining in the sun. We would have a presence in government always be in the fore of their minds to vote the will of the majority that sent them there. If they always continue to vote against us, we fire them. Especially now that the Supreme Court passed a law that allows corporations unlimited fund contributions, we need our collective voice as soon as possible.
If an elected official is truly passionate about the welfare and prosperity of his or her fellow citizens, why would they not choose to witness the voice of their constituents, to hear how they feel in real time, unbiased and valid?
To choose not to have the APD set up for them would be a self-destructive effort. One would have to explain why not have the voice of the Joe's amplified for all to see? It would force their intentions of public service out of the shadows and into the exposure of public forum.
In this idea of choice we will find our message of peace, prosperity, and liberty is always the ultimate fix, an assertive action demanding results, accountable to the average Joe, where the power belongs nested. It would provide competition for the best ideas to prevail in Party elections, the competition of ideas amongst candidates with a desire to contribute to the voice of liberty, with the prize of recognition amongst the Joe's, to be part of history in the shaping of a nation, without need for lucrative temptation, but rather the temptation of personal satisfaction in fitting Party to the lives of people, instead of Party shaping the choices of its governed.
Any efforts for liberty and prosperity to be successful start with freeing the people of excessive taxation and the increase of citizen involvement in accessible valid channels to see the fruition of the majority opinion, nothing else will do.
