MARK ANTONIOUS RICHFIELD

Mark was born in England to an English mother, Leslie and an American military father, Milt. The family relocated to Paradise, California when Mark was very young. He is an only child.

Milt Richfield is the owner of Richfield International, a business worth billions. The estate in Paradise includes a manor house, stables, pool, and servants.

With his long brown hair and bright green eyes, Mark’s fabulous sex appeal and good looks have always been a burden and a blessing to him. Called soft and a fag by his father, overprotected by his mother, Mark withstood an abusive childhood and fought with his sexuality all his adolescent life.

He made several attempts at straight relationships but failed. Originally graduating from Stanford University, (where he met Jack Larsen) with a degree in architecture, Mark works at Parsons and Company selling advertising and does modeling on the side. (Later becoming Dangereux Cologne’s top model)

He met the love of his life, Steven Jay Miller on a business retreat in New Mexico and resides with him Bel Air, California.

POSSIBLE CHRONOLOGICAL READING ORDER FOR BOOKS

In Mark and Sharon (formerly A Question of Sex), we meet Mark Richfield for the first time. Mark has an attempt at a relationship with Sharon Tice in this first book, which also introduces the hunky blond attorney, Jack Larsen.

In Miller's Tale, we meet the gorgeous LAPD cop, Steve Miller, who also tries to begin a straight relationship with beautiful African American lawyer, Sonja Knight.

In Capital Games, Mark Richfield and Steve Miller collide, literally on a business retreat. And all hell breaks loose in their personal lives.

In When Adam Met Jack, we see the fall out on Jack Larsen, when his roommate, Mark Richfield falls for Steve. Jack has loved Mark since college and is heartbroken. But Jack meets Adam Lewis, a hot shot Hollywood agent.

We first meet Adam Lewis in For Love and Money,(the sequel to The Physician and the Actor) and see the fiend Jack Turner he works with, who plays an important role in When Adam Met Jack.

In Capital Games Steve has a brief encounter with ex-soft porn star Angel Loveday. Angel Loveday is the main character in Love you, Loveday.

In the new Action series, Book 1 & 2 Acting Naughty and Playing Dirty need to be read in that order. The two actors involved and Carl Bronson and Keith O'Leary, meet and seduce the luscious Mark Richfield. The rest of the series should be read in this order; Book 3 Getting it in the End, followed by Top Men, of the Heroes Series, then Book 4 Behaving Badly, and then, Book 5 Dripping Hot, read after Double Trouble.

In Getting it in the End, we finally hear Mark's side of the story, and why he is who he is.

In Behaving Badly, Mark finds out he has a son, who is as gorgeous as he is, and big trouble!

In Dripping Hot, we discover how much Mark and Steve’s friends mean to them.

Packing Heat continues the saga of Mark’s trials with growing old and his promiscuous son Alex.

Being Screwed is about Alex’s chance at stardom.

Got Men? Includes visits from Keith and Carl, and Mark makes a sizzling appearance.

Something Sexy continues the saga of Mark getting into BDSM with his lovers and about an illicit affair Alexander begins

Going Wild is about Carl and Keith possibly losing their acting jobs, and of Alexander continuing his love for an older man. Mark meets Colt St. John for a BDSM session

In my Heroes Series, Book 3, my LAPD cops in Top Men, meet up with Mark and Steve on a call and become friends. The Heroes Series should be read in order, Man to Man, Two in Two out, and Top Men, because the characters are introduced in each previous book.

In Going Deep we meet Angel Loveday once again, who is there to offer sage advice.

In Double Trouble, the Rothschild twins both end up working for Parsons and Company, the same advertising firm that employs Mark Richfield and Steve Miller.

All Man should be read after Leather Boys because both of the main characters in Leather Boys play a part in All Man.

The Kiss should be read before Murphy’s Hero so you know who Ian Sullivan and Scott Epstein are when they appear. And for that matter, The Kiss precedes The Wedding Planner as well as The Vampire and the Man-Eater for Claire’s role in both.

For the Men in Motion Series, only Mile High and Driving Hard are connected so Cruising and Leather Boys can be read in any order.

It Takes a Man includes guest appearances from FBI agent Robbie Taylor and Dave Harris and should be read after Naked Dragon.

Side notes and trivia;

In To Have and To Hostage, Michael’s mother’s first name and grave dates, (month and day, not the years) were those of my mother’s name, birth and death.

I’ve been writing about Mark and Jack since 1990 and in my first book, ‘A Man’s Best Friend’ Mark was in the middle of a love triangle between Jack and Sharon. ‘A Man’s Best Friend’ is one of the scripts Ewan Gallagher reads in For Love and Money.

Murphy’s Hero began was a screenplay I wrote and was reworked into a full length novel based on a ‘comic book’ style superhero.

In Giving up the Ghost, Ryan’s ‘Anguish Series’ red painting was named after one of my favorite songs by Peter Gabriel, Red Rain.

The month and date of birth on Evan Oliver’s tombstone is mine.

Angel Loveday’s character in Love you, Loveday was inspired by Joe Dellasandro, whom I absolutely adore, from Andy Warhol’s movies.

In the Sizzle on All Romance eBooks Summer love, based on the characters of The Boy Next Door, Zach and Brandon skinny dip at Memorial Pool at night, diving off the ‘raft’ in the deep end. This was based on a true story from my youth.

Some of the situations involving the police in Top Men were crimes I was actually involved in, and were not fiction. (Not to mention I had the hottest partner on the planet)

The pub in Murphy’s Hero The Founder’s Arms, was one of my favorite hang outs along the river Thames. The chocolate stout was Young’s Chocolate Stout.

The story about Mark Richfield performing as Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady, was explained in detail in a book I wrote called All’s Fair, which has never been published.

Mark’s beloved sports car, the TVR is my all time favorite automobile.

When I first conceived of Mark Antonious deMontford’s story it was originally written into two separate books. In the first one, Francesco Cavella was killed by his brother Guido. In the sequel Mark returned to Italy to avenge his lover’s death, killing Guido and exposing himself as the illegitimate son of Mark’s Venetian father, Marc Antonious Caeserni. Mark then returned to London and lived with Baron Abel. But this was rewritten into a love story as it is now.

My inspiration for Acting Naughty and Playing Dirty came from Queer as Folk’s Michael and Brian.

The surfer dude pizza boy in Going Deep, ‘Vic’, shows up in all of the Heroes Series.

The new short story collection, In The Dark, includes Pete Harrison, a character from Double Trouble. His character is in one of the seven shorts and he appears in a full length novel.

And the book Calling Dr. Love is based on two of the characters in In The Dark that were caught in the Nordstrom’s dressing room at the mall. Included with the In The Dark series is What Should Never Be, more short stories about my character’s deepest taboo fantasies, and as you read them, hopefully you will agree they are acts so deviant that that they should never be.
