Death of the Antichrist
In volume 2, we saw how the Russians destroyed the United States. We also saw how the United States retaliated with bombers and subs. The Antichrist had read the Bible and knew what God was going to do, so he had a plan. The plan the Antichrist had was for him to take credit for defeating the Russians on the mountains of Israel. If the Jews believe he saves them from the Russians, then they may believe he is their savior. But, in order for the Jews to accept him as their savior, he will have to do something more than save them from the Russians. What would happen if the Antichrist was killed and he miraculously brought himself back to life? Would this miracle be enough for the Jews to accept him or would they need more miracles?
The Antichrist will have many enemies during the seven years of tribulation. One must remember, no matter how hard people will try to kill the Antichrist, killing him is totally impossible. If someone could kill the Antichrist, then God’s plan would be foiled and we know that cannot happen. Also, God’s Word must be fulfilled to the smallest detail. If it were possible for the Antichrist to be killed and not to be resurrected, all the things in the Revelation would not happen.
There are two different theories about the death of the Antichrist. The first theory is that the death of the Antichrist is really not that of a person, but that of an empire. The Roman Empire never did die from outside countries attacking her and killing her, or destroying her. She died from within, because of her way of life and because of her sins. During the last days, she will be revived or brought back from the dead. She will come to life and the Revised Roman Empire will once again rule the world.
The second theory is that the Antichrist will be killed somewhere around the mid-point of the tribulation. He will be pronounced dead and, somehow, a miracle will occur, or the people will call it a miracle and he will come back to life. It is at this point in time, the war in heaven will occur and the Devil is cast to earth and he will indwell the Antichrist. Hell on earth will now begin and the Great Tribulation will begin. Revelation 13:3 - And I saw one of his heads as though it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed, and all the world wondered after the beast.
More than likely, the Antichrist will accuse the Jews of master-minding the attack on him and his wrath will come against Israel. He will forbid them from going into the temple to worship and, as a matter of fact, he will place his image in the temple. When he first goes into the temple, he will proclaim that he is God. By proclaiming himself to be God and by placing his image in the temple, he commits the Abomination of Desolation spoken of by the Prophet Daniel. Matthew 24:15 - When ye, therefore, shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place (whosoever readeth, let him understand), Then let them who are in Judaea flee into the mountains; Let him who is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house; Neither let him who is in the field return back to take his clothes. The Jews I am speaking about in this paragraph are the ones that know that Christ is their savior. The scales that were on their eyes will be removed and they see Christ for who He really is, the Messiah. There is another group of Jews and they are the ones that will accept the Antichrist.
If you read my book, The Tribulation, you know that I wrote that the Antichrist had a robot made that looked just like him. This robot could talk and, to a certain point, it could reason. The Antichrist knew there was going to be an assassination attempt on his life, so he used the robot to take his place and it was the robot that was shot.
The death of the Antichrist will be the biggest news of the day. Can you imagine what it will be like when the President of the entire world is assassinated? Just think of what it was like when President Kennedy was killed. The entire nation came to a halt. The exact thing will happen when the Antichrist is killed; the whole world will stop.
But wait; he is not dead. He is performing a miracle and that miracle will be to come back from the dead. With this kind of a miracle, the world will believe the Antichrist is God. The Antichrist must begin his destruction of the Jews, so he can fulfill scripture (Zechariah 13:8).
I believe the invasion of Israel will occur right before the mid-point of the tribulation. The Antichrist will take credit for destroying the Russians and saving Israel. The Jews will come up with a way to show the Antichrist how thankful they are to him for saving them. It may be they will have a celebration at the temple. The Jews may think this is the perfect way to show their appreciation for what he did. But, the Antichrist has his own plan, when he goes into the temple.
Word will spread all across Israel that the Antichrist, or the President of the World, will go into the temple on a certain day to receive exaltation from the nation of Israel and their leaders for saving them. The people, who know the President of the World is the feared Antichrist and that he is totally against Israel, will set a trap for him. This trap will be a trap so they can assassinate him.
The day will finally come when the Antichrist is supposed to appear at the temple and the thank you exaltations can begin. When the Antichrist reaches the temple, the assassins strike. They hit the Antichrist in the head with two or three bullets. Within an hour of the attack, the Antichrist is pronounced dead. News of his assassination is spread all over the world. Everything in the world stops and the world does not know what to do since their leader is now gone.
The False Prophet will come to the aid of the world. He makes a speech of the boldest statements the world has ever heard. He states that the Antichrist is dead, but then ask the question: Who can kill God? He now proclaims that the Antichrist is God Almighty. People all over the world are skeptical of any person claiming to be God. But, when the False Prophet says that the bullet wounds are being healed and before the day is over the President of the World will stand at the Temple, people begin to wonder if the things the False Prophet is saying is true.
At the hospital, the Antichrist is healed of the bullet wounds (it could be a robot that took his place or a person that had plastic surgery so he looked identical to the Antichrist) and is ready to appear at the temple. At the temple the Antichrist goes inside and sits down on the Throne of God and proclaims that he is God. The Jewish priests and others know the Antichrist is a liar and they denounce him and his partner in crime, the False Prophet.
The Antichrist is not through with the other things he has on his mind. He tells the world he has made void the peace treaty he signed with Israel and the Arabs three and one half years ago. He then summons his private guard to bring in an image of himself and he places it in the temple. When a person comes into the temple, they will be required to bow down to the image and acknowledge their allegiance to the Antichrist.
Acknowledging their allegiance by mouth is one way to show their loyalty, but if they had to take a mark or number, that would indicate they really do believe the Antichrist to be God. Right after he has his image placed in the temple, he then puts out a decree that you must take his number or his mark and that number or mark is 666. If you reject this number, you will not be able to buy or sell anything. You will not be able to keep or hold a job. The Antichrist wants everyone in the world to know that this is the law of the land. If you reject the law, there is only one punishment and that is death. You will be killed by having your head cut off. This decree will start the second half of the tribulation, which is called The Great Tribulation. This mark or number will be placed on the right hand or on the forehead.
It may be that the two prophets of God will show up at the temple the same time the Antichrist is putting forth his decree. It may be the two prophets confront the Antichrist and they claim to be the true prophets of God. The Antichrist may say, "If you are who you say you are then show us a miracle." It will be at that time that the two prophets proclaim that it will not rain during their ministry. The first thing they will do is to stop the rain from falling on earth for 1260 days Revelation 11:3 through 6 - And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees, and the two lampstands standing before the God of the earth. And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies; and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed. These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy; and they have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
Let's back up a bit. Sometime right after the rapture, God will start bringing judgment after judgment on an unbelieving world of sinners. I believe the Seal Judgments will begin right after the Rapture. The first seal judgment will come when the first seal is broken and the rider on the white horse appears. (Revelation 6:2 - And I saw and, behold, a white horse; and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him, and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.)
When the rapture occurs, the world will be in total chaos. People will want to know: What has happened and where did all the people go that disappeared? No one in the world will have an answer that the masses will believe. Suddenly, a man appears on the world scene and he states that he has the answer. He also states that he has the answer to all of the problems the world is in.
The people of the world will listen to what he has to say and everything sounds so simple; they will believe what he says. This man is a smooth talker and he comes on the world scene with ideas the world has never heard of before. This man is the rider on the white horse; he is the Antichrist.
The Antichrist will bring peace to the entire world, with the exception of the Middle East. This man will accept the title of The Prince of Peace, the same title that Christ has. The Antichrist will look like a peace maker and his charisma will dope the world into believing anything and everything he says. When Israel and the Arab Bloc sign the treaty, there will be peace in the entire world.
As I stated earlier, right after the rapture, a rider on a white horse will appear on the world scene. Some people will believe this man is Christ, but that is totally wrong. This rider is the man the Bible calls the Antichrist. At first, people do not know for sure if what he says is true or false. But, when everything that he says happens, they will believe everything. When he signs the peace treaty, his seven year reign of hell will begin on earth.
The second seal will follow immediately after the first seal. The second seal is war. (Revelation 6:3, 4 - And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, Come. And there went out another horse that was red; and power was given to him that sat on it to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another; and there was given unto him a great sword.) At this time, we do not know when this horse will appear. We believe he will appear sometime during the first three and one half years of the tribulation. Most scholars believe the earth will have peace for at least the first two years into the tribulation, but watch out after that.
The third seal is the dreaded famine that usually follows all wars. (Revelation 6:5, 6 - And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, Come. And I beheld and, lo, a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures say, A measure of wheat for a denarius, and three measures of barley for a denarius, and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.) Things will be so bad during this time it will take one day of work to make one penny. One penny will buy enough food for one person for one day on earth. I know you may be thinking about children that are five or six years old and how bad it would be for them. Remember, when the rapture occurs, all children that have not reached the age of accountability are taken. In other words, when the rapture occurs, there will be no children left on earth; NONE.
The fourth seal is death, and we all know when there is war, famine will always follow and, with war and famine, there will always be death. (Revelation 6:7, 8 - And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, Come. And I looked and, behold, a pale horse, and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hades followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.) I believe about two years into the tribulation, war will break out somewhere in the world. This war will bring on another and another until the world is engulfed with war. I believe, during the second half of the tribulation, war will be a constant companion for all people everywhere on earth.
The fifth seal is opened and the people who heard the 144,000 preach the Gospel and accepted will be killed by the Antichrist. (Revelation 6:9 - And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held.) I believe this seal is opened during the second half of the tribulation.
The sixth seal is opened and all over the world there will be rebellion against the things of the Antichrist. (Revelation 6:12 - And I beheld, when he had opened the sixth seal and, lo, and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood:) It is best to read the rest of chapter 6. I believe people will wonder what is happening on earth and the different things the Antichrist says do not make sense. People all over the world will reject his ideas and his reasoning.
The seventh seal is opened and an angel does something that we cannot explain. (Revelation 6:5 - And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and cast it upon the earth; and there were voices, and thunderclaps, and lightnings, and an earthquake.) Exactly what happens on earth when the angel opens this seal, we do not know. We do know there will be lightning and the sound of thunder and there will be an earthquake. But, this is only the beginning. We are not told about the other things that come along with this seal.
The Trumpet Judgments are the second set of judgments that will affect the world. As you already know, the Seal Judgments were the first and when the seventh seal was opened, it also was the start of the trumpet judgments.
The first trumpet judgment will bring down fire and hail mixed with blood from heaven. This judgment will destroy all the green grass in the world and it will burn one third of all the trees in the world. (Revelation 8:7 - The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mixed with blood, and they were cast upon the earth; and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.) This judgment alone is bad enough, but it is only the beginning.
The second trumpet judgment will bring either a meteorite or an asteroid from outer space to the earth. When it hits, it will cause a tidal wave that will destroy one third of the ships on the ocean. The deadly particles from the foreign objects will kill one third of all the living creatures in the ocean. (Revelation 8:8, 9 - And the second angel sounded, and, as it were, a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea; and the third part of the sea became blood; And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.) Have you seen movies that show different objects hitting earth and the world is destroyed or almost on the verge of being destroyed? Well, that story line is no longer a story. Now it has happened, after this judgment.
The third trumpet judgment, I believe, is a comet hitting the earth. This comet will be called Wormwood. I believe, when objects start hitting the earth, the scientist will make a list of names, just like they do with hurricanes, so they can keep track of them. When this object hits the earth, it will kill a large number of people all over the world. It will also contaminate one third of all the fresh water in the world. (Revelation 8:10, 11 - And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as though it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters. And the name of the star is called Wormwood; and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the water, because they were made bitter.) If anyone drinks of the water that is contaminated, they will die. The only thing people can do is to test the water to see if it is drinkable.
The fourth trumpet is sounded and it sounds as if a volcano has erupted and the ash has darkened the sun and the light does not shine on one third of the earth. I may be wrong with this idea, but it is better than the other ideas I have heard or had. That idea would be there will be some type of explosion in outer space and one third of the stars will be destroyed, which affects the moon and the sun. (Revelation 8:12,13 - And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars, so that the third part of them was darkened, and day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise. And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!)
The fifth trumpet, I believe, is the same as the Demons From Hell on page 103 in my book, End Time Terminology. In heaven, there is a war and the Devil loses the battle and is thrown to earth. He has a key and he unlocks the pit so these special insects can bring havoc to the people of the world.
I believe the Devil thinks that these insects will sting those that have been sealed by God, but the complete opposite will occur. They will sting the people that do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. (Revelation 9:1 through 5 - AND the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth; and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit, and there arose a smoke out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth, and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those men who have not the seal of God in their foreheads. And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months; and their torment was like the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.)
The sixth trumpet will summon the kings of the east. This is one of the worse things that could happen. One third of all the people will be killed by the kings of the east. When they are summoned, they will start their march to the Middle East for their rendezvous with destiny. (Revelation 9:16, 18 - And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand; and I heard the number of them. By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.) It is best to read verse 13 through 21.
The seventh trumpet is different than those trumpets that were sounded before. This judgment does not tell about one certain or specific judgment, but it includes the seven bowl or vial judgments.
The next judgments that God will bring on the earth will be so severe the people of the world will not believe what is happening. The world has already gone through the Seal Judgments and the Trumpet Judgments and now the Bowl or Vial Judgments are about to occur.
The first Bowl Judgment is talked about in Revelation 16:1 and 2 - AND I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God upon the earth. And the first went, and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and there fell a foul and painful sore upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and upon them who worshiped his image. This judgment is similar to the time when the Devil unlocks the pit and the Demons from Hell fly all over the earth stinging people that do not have the seal of God in their foreheads. The difference between this judgment and the one where the insects sting men is that this judgment will not affect people that have not accepted Christ. It will affect people that have received the mark of the Beast.
We have to remember there are three groups of people on earth during the last half of the tribulation. One group will have accepted the mark of the Beast (666). The second group will have accepted Christ and they have the seal of God in their foreheads. The last group has not made a decision for the mark or to accept Christ. The painful sores will only affect one group of people; those with the mark of the Beast.
The second Bowl Judgment is in verse 3 - And the second angel poured out his bowl upon the sea, and it became like the blood of a dead man; and every living soul died in the sea. This judgment will affect every living thing in the ocean and in the seas. Everything will die from this plague. What it sounds like to me is the Red Tide. But, because it kills everything in the oceans and in the seas, I believe it will be something super natural.
The third Bowl Judgment is in verse 4 - And the third angel poured out his bowl upon the rivers and fountains of waters, and they became blood. The same effect that occurred on the oceans and the seas will now affect the water in the rivers and fountains of water or the lakes and ponds. They will all become like blood. With the great drought that the two prophets of God proclaimed would happen during their ministry occurring world-wide, God wants to get the attention of all the people in the world. The only way to do that is to make all of the water in the world undrinkable.
The fourth Bowl Judgment is in verse 8 and 9 - And the fourth angel poured out his bowl upon the sun, and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, who hath power over these plagues; and they repented not to give him glory. I believe this is the sun starting to turn into a Nova Star. When a star starts to turn into a Nova Star, it will get seven times hotter than it was and then it will blow up. I do not believe the sun will get seven times hotter, but it will be much hotter than it currently is and we know it will not blow up. People may believe it will blow up, but it will not. God is NOT going to allow the earth to be destroyed, yet.
The fifth Bowl Judgment is in verse 10 and 11 - And the fifth angel poured out his bowl upon the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds. This plague will either affect just the place the Antichrist dwells, or it may affect the entire earth. The Antichrist will probably be living in Babylon, or the city that he calls Babylon, and the darkness will engulf that whole city. If this plague covers the whole earth, people will be so frighten they will start gnawing on their tongues. This plague could also affect the body of a person and make sores come upon them. This plague sounds like the first Bowl Judgment. It also reminds us of descriptions of Hell. (Matt. 8:12)
The sixth Bowl Judgment is in verse 12 - And the sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the great river, Euphrates, and its water was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared. The world wide drought has been going on for almost three and one half years and the River Euphrates is almost dried up. With this judgment, the river will become completely dry and then the kings of the east can cross over and make their move to the Middle East for the Battle of Armageddon.
The seventh Bowl Judgment is the last and it is in verse 17 through 21. This judgment is so great; I believe it is best if you read those verses out of your own Bible. First, there will be an earthquake so great that there has never been one like it since man has walked upon the earth. It will be so great; it will destroy all the mountains and all the islands on earth. It will divide the city of Jerusalem into three parts. This judgment will also bring hailstones from heaven that weigh a talent or somewhere between 61 pounds up to 131 pounds. These hailstones will hit and kill anything on earth. All of this is a warning from God to repent. Yet instead of repenting, people will blaspheme God and call him all of the names in the book.
In the next volume we will look at the Battle of Armageddon and the Second Coming of Christ. We will see what happens when He places His foot on earth for the first time, since He left almost two thousand years ago.
