In Falful, where vikings lived in Sweden every viking was very strong but George was impossible. He couldn’t even get a sword in his hand and try to fight. Sometimes he almost killed his self with the sword.

One day his friend Jason walked to him when George was trying to climb a tree. and said rudely “Hey, George need some help or what?” “No thanks I don’t need any help especially not from you,” George answered back. “Wanna bet that I’m stronger then you?”

The whole village was laughing because George wanted to bet with Jason and because Jason was the strongest. viking.

The next day the race was starting very early in the morning. Uslo the oldest viking was starting the race.

First they had to fight or kill the Hiedle, next they had to get a feather from a Selt and at last go around the forest three times.

George was walking but Jason was sprinting because he really wanted to win. George knew that he wouldn’t win using only his strength, so he had to figure out something. He stopped so he can think, but he couldn’t so he went in the forest.

George hated monsters. Suddenly a huge eagle came out of the sky. It wasn’t a usual one. He said in a low voice:

“You are maybe not as strong as the other vikings like Jason but you have knowledge so you’ve got to use it.” “But how?” asked George, but it was too late the eagle was already gone.

Then he got a great idea. George went closer to the Hiedle and climbed up a tree. He made a hoop at the end of his string. Jason wasn’t there any more so he threw the hoop at the Hiedle’s horn. He tide the other end to a branch so he can go down. Quickly he ran away before the Hiedle could get free.

Now George needed a feather from a selt. It seemed impossible but then a selt flew abouve him to his nest. It was George`s chance to get the feather.

He climbed up the tree and was about to get the feather, but then the Selt saw him. George tried to explain every thing. “I...IAm...Sorry...I...I just...” and then the Selt interrupted.

“I know you are George who wants one of my feathers. Here this is for you.”

Thank you but how do you know me? asked George.

Well...an eagle told that I should give you one of my feathers. Said back the selt.

Sorry selt but I need to go. Said George. Wait don`t you need to go around the forest three times? said the selt. Thanks!! answered back George. They flied around two times but than the hiedle got free and it was there a front of them. But George had an idea. Can you please make me some fire? asked George the selt.

Sure why not...there.

George shot fired arrows at the hiedle and it was so hot that it killed the hiedle and they could go freely again.

The selt and George flew around the forest one more time. At half way through George had to go alone so the village didn’t notice that he got help from the selt. When he got to the end, the whole village was wondering how he came back so fast and where Jason was. George decided to tell them how he did it. At the end everyone, even Jason, learned a lesson: knowledge is stronger than strength.
