The Paranormal Investigator By Macy Reynolds
Tom was a paranormal investigator. He went all around the world to various haunted locations in search of a good ghost hunt. This was his passion, and he kept doing what he loved no matter what people told him. No matter what dangers, no matter what history a haunted place had, he investigated it. People called him crazy. Even believers. They told him that someday a wrong move would lead to no good. He didn’t listen.
“Alright, all set.” Tom said. He was trying something new. He was going to a badly haunted house. He never investigated houses, but he thought this would be a good start. “Be careful Tom, okay?” His mom said. “Alright mom, I promise. I’ll call you when I’m finished.” Tom responded. His mom was pretty nervous when he went out to investigations no matter what. Him and his mother and father shared hugs as he left.
After a two hour drive and a few stops, Tom arrived at the house. He didn’t know much of what was happening, except for it was really haunted. Whatever it was happening, he was excited and ready to go. “Oh, thank you for coming.” The lady at the door said. “Please come in.” “So um..what has been going on?” Tom said. “Well, there is a very dark history to this house.” The lady said. “What we have been told is that there was a father who went crazy and killed his family.” “Oh my.” Tom said in disbelief. “Yes yes, very tragic. It has been said that he haunts this house still, and doesn’t allow anyone in his house. He’s very intimidating.” “Like, how intimidating? What does he do?” Tom said. “We have seen him in the closet, the bathroom, and even the backyard. He just stands there with the same pose and stares at you with his bright red eyes. He is holding an axe. Obviously the axe he killed his family with. He scares me so much, and I try to hide it. All I want is to be safe, and you were the only option to my problem.” “Well..” Tom said. He was very frightened. “I will get him out. Don’t worry.” He said. “Thank you very much. We have a place we can go for a night while you do your thing.” The lady said. “That’s a-okay. I will call you when you can come home.” “Okay.” She said. She walked out the door.
“Okay.” He said with frightened sigh. “Here we go.” It was already dark out, so he could begin his investigation. He got out his camera and set it on the tripod. He then got his voice recorder out and began his investigation. “Is anyone here?” He said. He waited a few moments. Nothing. “Can you tell me your name?” A few more moments went by and still nothing. He asked various questions for an hour more, and he caught nothing. By this time it was about 10:00, while he got there at around 8:00 and talked for an hour or so. He hadn’t gotten much sleep the night before due to being so anxious, so he ended up falling asleep. He woke up a rough 5 hours later, and by this time it was 3:00 am. When he awoke, he heard chanting. The chanting seemed to be calling his name. “Tom..Tom..come here Tom. Tom..Tom..come here Tom.” He was scared, but at the same time he felt like he should go and investigate. That was his job after all. He walked around the house but it didn’t get any closer. He then began to walk out into the backyard. It finally got closer. He then began to see a haze. The haze started to fade, and when it did he saw a figure. A man. Holding an axe. Tom started running away as soon as he saw what it was. It chased after him. Once he reached to the living room, he didn’t have anywhere else to go. It cornered him and grabbed him by his shirt, and threw him across the room and through the wall. Tom was knocked unconscious for a while, but finally awoke. This time the man was standing over him. The man said something. “Dead dead Tom..poor dead Tom. Shouldn’t have bugged John. Shouldn’t have bugged John.” The man hit him with the axe, and killed Tom. The man vanished back into the back yard.
After a few more days of not getting a call back, the lady came back to her home. She walked in the front door to find her wall demolished, and Tom’s dead body. No one knows what happened after that, except for the fact that she called the cops and got out of there.
