EXT. CAR ON ROAD – DAY
Dawn breaks as sun is reflected on a car.
C/U CRAB and PAN - along car, see reflection of women approaching car in the side wearing a smart dress and jacket with white blouse with long brown hair and a slight tan to her skin, she is a BUSINESS WOMEN called LAURA.
MS – See women approaching car and taking out what looks to be a key and presses it. CAR LIGHTS FLASH and a BEEP is heard. She stands at the car and P.O.V – glances around, she sees no one, gets into car and sits down.
EXT/INT – STREET/CAR – DAY
MS – She reaches into the pocket of the jacket and pulls out what looks to be a mobile phone. She switches the mobile phone on and a TONE is heard, she looks puzzled and presses the scroll button.
LAURA
Aagh!
Starts engine and drives off.
CUT TO BLACK:
TITLE OF FILM – MUSIC – ROCK/METAL
FADE IN:
INT. GARAGE – DAY
LONG SHOT - The car pulls up into a badly lit, multi-storey car park where the car splashes through what looks like a puddle of oil.
CUT TO:
EXT./INT. – GARAGE/CAR - DAY
MS - Laura turns the car off and struggles to pull the handbrake up.
LAURA
I hate that handbrake; I wonder what else can go wrong today?
CUT TO:
EXT. GARAGE - DAY
MS - Laura steps out of the car and walking away points the key towards the car and presses a button. The car does nothing, Laura looks back and then pressing the button again only to have nothing happen. Walks over towards the car and inserts the key into the lock and turns it. The car BEEPS and it’s LIGHTS FLASHES.
LS – A tall man wearing a smart raincoat, along with a smart suit is seen approaching Laura from behind. He looks to be in a hurry to catch Laura, on close up he’s clean-shaven and youngish. He’s VITTORIO.
VITTORIO
(Cheerful)
Hey Laura! How are you?
LAURA
Hi Vittorio, I’m fine thanks. How’s the contract coming? Along?
VITTORIO
Okay, I suppose if you class working a 45-hour week good.
LAURA
(In a depressed way)
I suppose so.
VITTORIO
(Demoralised)
Yeah.
Laura and Vittorio enter a well-lit lift with stainless steel walls and metal circular buttons; Vittorio holds the lift doors open while Laura rushes in, the lift doors close. TILT UPWARDS
CUT TO OFFICE:
INT. – OFFICE – DAY
LS - Laura and Vittorio are seen entering the office together. The office has several offices in the corner while the main part of the floor is open plan with several desks and computers without borders. Laura heads straight for her office in the left hand corner; While Vittorio is seen heading towards a coffee machine on the right hand side of the office to where they entered.
MS – Laura is sitting at her desk; her desk is cluttered with two miniature shelves, stacked with paper. She leans back in her sleek black clothed chair and closes her eyes. She then turns and puts the CD player and plays a upbeat rock song from one of her CD’s in the draw, in the background while looking down and reaching for the 2nd draw in the desk.
P.O.V – Laura looks down and sees a copy of Mayfair and Playboy in the draw, along with a lesbian magazine.
MS – The phone rings, Laura slams the draw shuts and answers the phone.
CUT TO COLLEGE:
EXT. COLLEGE – DAY
Clouds gather over the college
INT. COLLEGE CORRIDOR – DAY
MS – See girl with long black hair, fairly tall, with deep warm eyes wearing a collar with studs. Wearing a hooded sweater with black jeans and boots. Walking down the corridor with people averting eye contact and avoiding her, she walks confidently into a classroom.
CUT TO:
INT. CLASSROOM – DAY
MS – See girl walking in from the corridor to sit in her chair. Her name is NICOLE. There is a guy sitting next to Nicole, he’s wearing a Calvin Klein shirt with Levi 501s and Kicker hunter boots. He’s Nicole’s boyfriend and is called RIVER. Also in Nicole’s class is her best friend who wears shirt and blouse. She’s called ANNA and she’s sitting behind Nicole.
ANNA
(Cheerful)
Hi Nicole, how’s tricks?
NICOLE
(Cheerful but tired)
Fine, nothing much happening stayed up till two fantasising.
RIVER
(Puzzled)
About what?
NICOLE
(Evil Grins and blows a kiss at the end of the sentence)
Wouldn’t you like to know!
ANNA
(In a sarcastic voice)
I hope it’s not too erotic this time; I couldn’t handle another one of those twisted fantasies again!
RIVER
(Shocked)

CUT TO FRONT OF CLASS:
INT. CLASSROOM – DAY
MS – A man dressed in the suit enters the classroom, holding a bunch of papers and folders and places them on the desk. He’s the lecturer and his name is JASON.
JASON
(Stresses the not)
That’s enough Nicole; I do not want to hear about your fantasies either!
CUT TO C/U OF NICOLE:
NICOLE
Sorry, Sir.

FADE IN:
EXT. STREET – NIGHT
LS - Rain clouds gather overhead as we see Nicole walk down the street with headphones on, listening to music on her Walkman. As she reaches the house it starts to rain, Nicole looks up and stares at the clouds for a few seconds.
C/U – Nicole puts the key into the door lock and turns the key to open the door to enter a cold house.
INT. HALL WAY – NIGHT
MS – Nicole enters the house, she closes the door behind and hearing a continuous buzzing sound of the alarm enters the four-digit code of 1368, only to hear the buzzing sound cease.
PAN RIGHT - Nicole then throws her bag down on the stairs and proceeds via the hallway to the dining room, we see Nicole’s back as she enters the dining room.
DISSOLVE TO:
INT. DINING ROOM – NIGHT
MS - In the dining room there is a pile of wood on the floor neatly piled on top of another with a garden table and chairs neatly stacked on the right hand side of the room. Nicole looks to the left to see a pile of shopping bags beside a wooden chair and a wooden box filled with nails and pieces of wood. Nicole goes into the kitchen to see what’s available to snack on.
CUT TO:
EXT. STREET SHOT – NIGHT
LS – A car slowly drives up the street with its sidelights on; acting like a predator stalking its prey. The car finally sees a space and starts to manoeuvre into the open space.
CUT TO:
INT. KITCHEN – NIGHT
MS – Nicole picks up a piece of fruit and plays with it, while leaning against the work surface.
Nicole glances around to see what’s available to eat apart from fruit. She sees nothing and so proceeds to exit the dining room.
CUT TO:
INT. HALL WAY – NIGHT
MS – Nicole stops suddenly; startled she looks at the door with surprise.
CUT TO:
INT./EXT. HALL WAY/STREET – NIGHT
P.O.V – Nicole sees her mother, Laura entering the hallway; Laura smiles.
TILT UP and PAN RIGHT – Nicole dashes up the stairs, while her mother walks to the dining room.
CUT TO:
INT. BEDROOM – NIGHT
MS – Nicole is in her bedroom after being startled by her mother entering the house unexpectedly; the bedroom is painted a light blue with wall lights with stainless steel coverings. There is no main light; the main light source is several spotlights covering the ceiling. There are several posters in the room ranging from Raging Speedhorn to Papa Roach posters. Nicole walks over to the book shelf where there are books ranging from Joseph Heller’s Catch-22 to J.D. Salinger’s Catcher in the Rye. Nicole runs her fingers gently over the books and stops at a book; that looks to be old and worn. Nicole pauses for a second looks at the door and then looks at the book; she finally decides to leave it for now.
O.S. – Laura shouts up and asks whether Nicole wants a an Indian or not
MS – Nicole goes to the door and shouts yes. After which Nicole goes back to the book that she was thinking over and pulls it from the shelf. She opens it.
P.O.V. – Nicole looks down and sees the secret compartment hidden within the book; she sees the book that is hidden within the book itself. The book is called Screw the Roses, Send me the Thorns; a book about BDSM. Nicole carefully glancing at the door removes the book from the hiding case and places it on the table.
O.S. – Laura is coming up the stairs as Nicole hears thuds as Laura gently walks up the stairs.
MS – Nicole picks up the book and places it within the secret compartment, closing the book and placing it on the shelf as Laura enters the room.
TWO-SHOT - Laura leaning against the doorframe.
LAURA
(Tired, Overworked)
Hi Nicole, how are you? And how’s college?
NICOLE
(Tired)
I’m fine and college is boring.
LAURA
Well life isn’t made up of sweet dreams and chocolate
NICOLE
(Sighing)
I know, I just (pauses)
LAURA
(Cheerful)
I know, come here
TWO-SHOT/PAN LEFT/BOOM UP/TILT DOWN – Nicole walks over to Laura, as she comes off the door frame, as Nicole gets closer Laura’s arms open as Nicole walks into them and hugs Laura; Laura reciprocates the feeling and hugs Nicole closer, kissing her hair and running her hands down Nicole’s back.
CUT TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM – NIGHT
TWO-SHOT – Nicole and Laura are sitting down on the sofa, the mood is tense.
LAURA
What’s wrong?
NICOLE
Nothing’s wrong
LAURA
Then why are you in a mood?
NICOLE
(A little stressed)
I’m not it’s just that
LAURA
(Compassionate)
It’s just that it’s the anniversary of your father’s death seven years ago.
NICOLE
(Slightly upset)
Yes and well you haven’t (pauses)
LAURA
Visited his grave and tending to it?
NICOLE
Yes
LAURA
I haven’t forgotten about your father, he was a lovely man and I loved him but people have to move on and not dwell on the past
NICOLE
(Annoyed)
Yeah, but it’s just that you should at least visit his grave.
LAURA
(Nearly in tears)
I do visit his grave sometimes; it’s just that you don’t see it.
Nicole slams her plate along with the knife and fork down and storms off.
PAN LEFT/TWO-SHOT – We see Nicole storming out of the Living room and Laura placing her plate onto the floor of the living room knocking off a fork onto the floor and then seeing her lay back on the chair looking up, sighing.
O.S. – We hear loud rock music playing from above as Nicole plays her stereo.
CUT TO:
INT. KITCHEN – NIGHT
MS – We see Laura in the kitchen packing the dishwasher, with the dishes from earlier on. The kitchen has stainless steel cupboards, cooker, dishwasher as well as the fridge. The washing machine is non-stainless steel and stands out. The working surface is granite with a clock between two windows. At the back of the kitchen, there is a skylight in the roof; by the entrance to the kitchen on the right hand side there is a door leading out to the small garden.
TWO-SHOT – Nicole then comes into the kitchen, she turns to the side and rests in front of the washing machine, and we see her eyes are red indicating that she has been crying. Laura looks at her and stares at her for a few seconds.
NICOLE
(Tear jerked voice)
I’m sorry
LAURA
(Compassionate)
That’s okay; I know that I should of known that you were still sensitive over your father
NICOLE
(Wiping tears around her eyes and sniffling)
Its okay
Nicole grabs Laura and embraces her tightly as her head presses against Laura’s body. Laura just comforts her.
DISSOLVE TO:
INT. BEDROOM – NIGHT
MS OVERHEAD – We see Nicole lying on her bed reading a book with her stomach facing down on the bed with music playing, the particular music is Sneaker Pimps and Six Underground. The book that Nicole is reading is about BDSM.
O.S. – Laura
What’s that you’re reading?
P.O.V. – Nicole glances round while slamming the book beneath her pillow.
TWO-SHOT – Nicole is lying on the bed, after hiding the book with Laura just standing by the end of the bed.
NICOLE
(Innocent)
Nothing, it’s just a trashy novel
LAURA
(Smiles)
I see, reading about romantic places and dreamboat guys
NICOLE
(Loud voice and slightly disgusted at the thought)
Mum!
Laura goes to sit at the end of the bed to comfort Nicole; Nicole crawls over and gets up to lean against Laura, hugging her. Nicole looks up at Laura and smiles; Laura looks down and smiles agonisingly.
CUT TO:
INT. BEDROOM – NIGHT
MS – Laura is in her bedroom; in the bedroom there is a futon double bed with a sheets, a single pillow and a duvet. Along with this there is a wardrobe, a filing cabinet, two desks with glass tops and wooden support legs from Ikea with a computer. Laura is just about to remove her black lace lingerie and slip into her nightclothes when a knock at the door is heard. Laura glances over at the door.
LAURA
(In a slightly loud voice)
Come in
TWO-SHOT – The door opens and Nicole is seen in the doorway wearing her nightgown and clutching a pillow to her chest.
NICOLE
(Smiling)
Hi, can I sleep with you tonight?
LAURA
(Astonished)
Sleep with me?
NICOLE
(Puzzled)
Yes
LAURA
(In an inquisitive voice)
What’s brought this on, your seventeen now! You haven’t asked to sleep in my bed for ten years
NICOLE
Well, I just want to, I want someone I know close to me now. I miss dad!
LAURA
(Pauses for a minute, looks at Nicole)
Hmmm (pauses) Okay
NICOLE
(Smile)
Thanks.
TWO-SHOT – Nicole climbs into the futon and places her pillow next the pillow which is already there, while Laura dims the light and undresses. Then Laura climbs into bed on the left of Nicole, so her back is to the door. Nicole then grabs Laura’s arm and wraps it around her body and snuggles in closer to Laura. Laura pecks Nicole on the head and reaches up with the arm that is free to switch off the light.
CUT TO BLACK:
FADE IN:
INT. BEDROOM – DAY
OVERHEAD TWO-SHOT – Nicole and Laura are in bed asleep with their arms and legs entwined with each other, with the duvet covering only there middle and some there upper half of their bodies.
CUT TO:
INT. OFFICE – DAY
MS – Lift doors open and we see Vittorio and Laura, Laura gets out walking towards her office. Vittorio looks over to his secretary. The secretary smiles and gives a nod.
CUT TO:
INT. LAURA’S OFFICE - DAY
P.O.V. – As Laura opens her office, she looks at her desk and sitting on the desk is a large card with happy birthday on it.
VITTORIO
Happy birthday Laura
LAURA
(Surprised)
How did you know?
VITTORIO
Someone in the administration department accidentally let it slip when he got drunk
LAURA
(Shocked)
Wow!
VITTORIO
Impressed
LAURA
Yeah.
VITTORIO
Thought you might be.
LAURA
Thanks
VITTORIO
How’s Nicole
LAURA
She’s fine.
MS – Laura goes to sit down on her chair in her office, when Vittorio leaves, STEVE her boss enters the office. Laura smiles at her supervisor, while he closes the office door. He’s wearing a navy blue suit with white shirt and matching tie to the suit, he’s shoes are well polished and are plain and purposeful.
TWO-SHOT – Laura is sitting down, while Steve is standing at the window staring out at what seems to be nothingness.
STEVE
(In a counter-sending manner)
Fifteen years ago, it was me who got the thirtieth birthday surprise. I know that you’re new and ambitious but don’t let this go to your head, besides I had to go into your second draw this morning because I wanted a file.
LAURA
(In a worried manner)
Yes
Laura and Steve halt in their tracks, as Steve turns to Laura and steps a little closer.
STEVE
(Whispering)
I know that you’re a lesbian and I also like you to know that personally speaking, I find it intolerable that we can’t fire every single one of you until you become normal.
LAURA
(Aghast)
What? I see you’re from the old school of toleration
STEVE
(In a arrogant whispering voice)

Why, You could jerk off in your office about having lesbian sex fantasies? Without knowing a women whose in another office in the same building is having the same fantasies as you. Before you ask, I don’t like men to be involved they’re impotent.
LS – Laura walks off from the conversation leaving Steve, aghast.

MS DOLLY BACK – Laura walks confidently away from Steve, Leaving him froze in the office, we see a FEMALE CO-WORKER look up and smirk.
PAN LEFT – Laura walks back into her office, after Steve embarrassed leaves and closes the office door, silently and gentle.

INT. LAURA’S OFFICE – DAY
MS – Laura is sitting down in her office recovering from the surprise birthday greeting that she ran into out entering her office. She opens the second draw and pulls out a magazine and starts flicking through some of the pages as she stares aimlessly into space. Just as a smile is growing onto her face, the phone rings which brings her back into reality and the reality of the office.
CUT TO:
INT. COLLEGE COMMONROOM – DAY
MS TWO-SHOT – Nicole wearing a close fitting black top with a red picture of the playboy bunny on it, with boots that just come to below the knee, with a black skirt is sitting on a abused sofa with Anna. Anna is wearing blue jeans with a tight crop top with a denim jacket over it, looking very eighties and a bit out of date. Anna starts off the conversation, after finishing her Drink of coke.
ANNA
(Interrogating)
So, have you done it yet?
NICOLE
Done what?
ANNA
(Sharply)
Confronted your mum, about her sexuality and her being lesbian?
NICOLE
(Slightly Dramatic/Sarcastically)
Yeah right, As if I’m going to go up to my mum and say look mum I was looking in your belongings for some lipstick and I came across Diva, a magazine for lesbians.
ANNA
(Arrogant/Ironic)

NICOLE
(Disgusted)
Leave it alone!
MS – We see Anna turn to Nicole and rest her arm on the back of the sofa.
ANNA
(Pushy)
Why? You’ve slept with her, haven’t you?
NICOLE
(Jokingly pushing Anna, stressing the non-sexual part)
No! Well kind of, it’s just that last night I felt lonely and wanted comforting so I asked my mum, if I could sleep with her, in a non-sexual manner of course.
ANNA
(Inquisitive)

NICOLE
(Shocked)

(Pushing the subject further)

(Itching forward and bringing her face closer to Nicole’s)

(Smiling)

ANNA
(Smiling and removing Nicole’s hand from her leg)
How about, this afternoon?
NICOLE
(Thinking)
I’ve got a free period this afternoon, so I don’t see why not.
ANNA
(Blushes and shies away)

NICOLE
(Happily)
Meet me at the entrance at three
ANNA
(Still shy)

(Looking at her watch)
We better go, haven’t we got class in two minutes
ANNA
(Looks at her watch)

CUT TO:
EXT. COLLEGE ENTRANCE – DAY
MS – The sky is clear as Nicole looks up after checking her watch to see that’s it ten to three in the afternoon. Nicole is nervous as she plays with her hair, bracelets and twitches on the spot; Nicole checks her watch again, one minute has passed.
NICOLE
(Whispering to herself)
Only four minutes before Anna is here.
Looking around in anticipation and she jerks as she spots someone who looks like Anna and then looks away in depression as her face sulks.
TWO-SHOT - Four minutes later, Nicole receives a tap on the right shoulder and as she looks to the right, she feels a pair of warm moist lips on her left cheek; she looks in surprise to her left to find Anna standing there alone and smiling.
ANNA
(Slightly nervous)
Hi
NICOLE
(Smiles)
Hi, How was your class?
ANNA
(Brushing her hair back)
Okay, it wasn’t that interesting
NICOLE
(Nervously, jittering on the stop and twiddling fingers together)
Shall we go?
ANNA
(Smiles and nervously)
Yeah, do you want to hold hands?
NICOLE
(Brushing hair back and smiling)
Yeah.
TWO-SHOT – Nicole and Anna walk away from the college holding hands on the other side of the road we see River stop and stare at what he’s seeing, dropping his bag in the process.
CUT TO:
EXT. (NICOLES) HOUSE – DAY
TWO-SHOT – Nicole arrives home with Anna, with Nicole taking the lead to insert the key to the door. Anna meanwhile is looking around the street and looking at the building.
CUT TO:
INT. HALLWAY – DAY
TWO-SHOT – Nicole takes the lead still holding Anna’s hand and leading her through the hallway only letting go to allow Anna to take off her coat. Nicole then holds Anna by the waste and gently pecks her neck while she goes to close the door. Nicole looks at Anna and looking towards the dining room.
NICOLE
(Nervously pointing towards the dining room)
Would you like a coffee, tea or a drink?
ANNA
(Nervously)
No thanks; you’ve got a lovely house here.
NICOLE
(Smiling and biting lip after hmm)
Thanks, do you…hmm…
ANNA
(Looking Nicole in the eye)
Go up stairs?
NICOLE
(Nervously gesturing)
Yeah, not that I want to get it over and done with
ANNA
(Nervous laughter)
I know what you mean
TWO-SHOT PAN RIGHT/TILT UP – Nicole smiling gently takes Anna’s hand and leads her up the stairs, with Anna following behind and giving Nicole a puppy dog stare.
CUT TO:
INT. BEDROOM – DAY
TWO-SHOT – Nicole leads Anna to her bedroom, Anna looks amazed as she sees the posters and the books on Nicole’s shelves. After which Nicole gently goes behind Anna and closes the door, Anna turns round fiddling with her hair looks at Nicole and then looks at the bed.
NICOLE
(Nervously)
I haven’t done anything like this before not during the day
ANNA
(Nervously)
That’s okay; do you want to sit on the bed and chat?
NICOLE
(Smiles and twiddles hair)
Okay, we can chat, that’s cool.
ANNA
(Walking over to the bed)
So you like Papa Roach?
NICOLE
(Impressed)
Yeah; Coby Dick, the lead singer is rather sexy but I wouldn’t like to go to bed with him
ANNA
(Inquisitive)
Why? He’s rather good looking with the tattoos
NICOLE
(Puzzled)
I agree but the thing is, the person I would most like to sleep with is…
ANNA
(Interrupting)
Me?
TWO-SHOT – Nicole stares into Anna’s eyes, placing her hands on her hips as they sit sideways onto the bed, Anna’s eyes flick downwards as Nicole bends her head to make eye contact and then tips her head to the side and gently pecks Anna on the lips and withdraws. Anna responds moving closer to Nicole and reciprocating the kiss this time the kiss lasts longer before they separate. Nicole looks Anna in the eye and then kisses her for longer, Anna meanwhile is pulling Nicole’s top up. Nicole withdraws and lifts her arms in the air to allow Anna to remove the top, the red bra that Nicole is wearing is revealed, Nicole is panting as Anna sees her chest go up and down with every breath Nicole takes. Anna tilts her hand and gently moves from Nicole’s shoulder where she removes one of the straps and gently kissing all the way to her lips. Nicole’s head tips back as her back archers and Anna moves closer, allowing Nicole to take her top off, to reveal a white bra. Nicole then moves to lie down on the bed as Anna places her left leg over Nicole so that Anna is now on top of Nicole. Nicole’s head is on the pillow looking up as Anna leans over Nicole and with one her hands start to undo Nicole’s short black skirt.
ANNA
(Looking at Nicole)
Nicole, I want you to relax. If you want to stop say so. I’m not going to force you to do anything you don’t want to do, understand?
NICOLE
(Taking short breaths as she becomes more aroused)
Yes.
ANNA
(Smiling before kissing Nicole on the lips)
Good.
NICOLE
(Biting bottom lip and going bright red)
Thanks
Anna then sits up and removes her bra and then leans over Nicole to kiss her lips after which she starts to move while kissing her neck and gently arousing Nicole.
NICOLE
(Getting aroused)
I thought you were a novice
ANNA
(Smiling and kissing Nicole’s stomach)
No, I’ve done this before and I’m also a lesbian but I didn’t have the strength to tell you

(Looking down as her back arches)

MS – Laura reaches Nicole’s door and knocks, hearing no sound enters.

MS – Laura enters Nicole’s bedroom, removing a book from the bag that she always carries to work. Heading towards Nicole’s desk, Laura places the book on the desk and turns to the left to go out and as Laura turns her eyes dilate as she goes red as she catches Nicole in bed with Anna both entangled in each other. Laura then quickly heads to the door but as she does this Nicole’s alarm goes off. As Nicole wakes first, seeing that the time is six in the afternoon turns and spots Laura standing at the desk, blushing.

I thought I come home and cook you something since we’ve been getting deliveries a lot recently. I should have phoned but I wanted it to be a surprise.

THREE-SHOT – Laura, Nicole and Anna are all sat down at the dinner table. Anna is however currently playing footsy with Nicole by rubbing her foot halfway up Nicole’s leg.

TWO-SHOT – Laura and Nicole are sitting in the living room after Anna had to return home. The living room is nicely decorated with a leather sofa and a wide screen TV in one of the corners. Laura has managed to stock the living room with all the latest gadgets ranging from DVD to Sky Digital. Laura starts the conversation by referring back to Nicole’s antics with Anna in her room during the afternoon.

PAN RIGHT MS – Nicole gets up and storms out of the living room and slams the door behind her. Meanwhile Laura is in tears resting her head on her hands her hair flowing over and slightly covering her red face and the tears.
O.S – The sound of Nicole storming up the stairs is heard; minutes later heavy metal is heard coming from above.
MS – Laura meanwhile leans over and rests her head on the arm of the sofa. Laura then turns to look up at the ceiling and then with a look of determination on her face, gets up off the sofa and walks out the door.
CUT TO:
INT. HALLWAY/STAIRS – NIGHT
MS – Laura coming out of the living room manoeuvres round the green collection box that is there to allow recycling of rubbish. Laura places her right hand on the banister and steps up the stairs heading for Nicole’s room, where the music is getting louder.
CUT TO:
INT. LANDING – NIGHT
MS – Laura has just reached the top of the stairs, Laura heads toward Nicole’s room and knocks at the door. Laura receives no reply from Nicole. Laura cautiously turns the door handle and steps in she looks around, she finds Nicole lying on the bed face down crying. Laura then goes to sit at the end of the bed.
TWO-SHOT – Laura is sitting at the end of the bed, while Nicole is laying face down trying to hide her face with Laura massaging her bare feet.
LAURA
(Calmer and less angry)
Look, I was a little shocked and upset to see my seventeen-year-old daughter in bed with another women and then to find out that you’re a bisexual sadomasochist. Well it’s a little too much to take in at the same time.
Nicole turns round still laying on the bed resting on her elbow with a bright red face as though she had been crying all the time.

MS – Nicole is sitting at her desk in her bedroom while listening to heavy metal/rock music, while writing in her diary about the day’s events. Nicole is writing in black ink in a hardback A5 diary with a fluffy white rabbit by her side with the curtains directly behind her drawn while the other curtains are closed.
VOICE OVER - NICOLE
I went shopping today, after having River insinuated that Anna and I were sleeping together. I wonder if he actually knows that that’s the truth? That’s beside the point of why I’m writing, I got to the shop in question and entered as usual went strolling around or browsing depending on how you look at things.
Nicole takes a pause from writing as we see her lean backwards chewing her pen and twiddling it between her fingers.
VOICE OVER - NICOLE
When I saw the most gorgeous pair of eyes imaginable, along with an attractive body and looks. Her tanned skin shined in the artificial light of the fluorescent tube lights like the moonlight on a crystal clear lake, with her long sensuous jet-black hair flowing over her shoulders and down her back, along with her puppy brown eyes. MS – Nicole pauses outside the door, her ear is close to the door as to hear the alarm go off. The alarm goes off as a BEEP is heard to signal that the alarm is armed and will go off if an intruder breaks in.

MS – Nicole is walking up the street wearing a black summer jacket, while looking around and the nearby houses and dodging a piece of plastic that is just lying on the pavement.

EXT. RIVERS HOUSE – DAY
MS – Nicole is standing outside an old Victorian house; the wooden door is slightly intimidating as she goes to knock, as Nicole taps the wooden door an ECHOING DULL THUD is heard. The door CREAKS open as River is revealed, wearing black jeans and a dark blue top which looks to be a industrial in its construction.

(Surprised)

TWO-SHOT – Nicole passes River who moved out the way and waits for River to close the door. River nervously closes the door as he sees Nicole leaning against the wall looking at him. River goes ahead of Nicole as Nicole stops leaning off the wall as Nicole follows River to the living room.

INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY
TWO-SHOT – Nicole and River enter the living room River is the first to enter the room. The living room ceiling is white, as the walls are painted blue as the contrast is vibrant which makes the room look bright and spacious than it actually is. The sofa is made out of textured cloth that gives the sofa an uncomfortable feel as Nicole sits down running her hand across the sofa. Nicole looks at the curtain, they’re dark blue to contrast with the walls along with this there also hung on rails that are stainless steel.
NICOLE
(Nervously pointing)
I see your parents are into the industrial look
RIVER
(Puzzled)

NICOLE
(Playing with her fingers)

MS - Nicole gets up from the sofa and heads towards the door, while River is sitting on the sofa leaning onto his hands that are being supported by his arms resting on his legs.
RIVER
(Crying)

(Looking at River)
It’s Over River, the best thing you can do now is to forget about me. Bye.
MS – Nicole walks out the living room, gently closing the living room door.
O.S – A CLUNK of a door closing is heard.

EXT. STREET – DAY
LS – Nicole is seen walking from the path leading up to River’s house and walking up the street passing a few parked cars on her left hand side. Nicole then takes out a mini-disc player, which she had in her left-hand pocket and unravels the earplugs and places the mini-disc player back in her pocket after she presses the play button. Nicole then places the earplugs into her ears and walks round the corner at the top of River’s street.
CUT TO:
INT. KITCHEN – DAY
MS – Nicole is back at home in the kitchen opening a bag of Java Coffee that Laura bought recently from the local supermarket. Nicole grabs a teaspoon from the draw and takes out one spoonful of coffee and places it in a jug, after which Nicole then boils the kettle and grabs a mug off the stainless steel shelf and places two spoon full of sugar and a little bit of mineral water out the stainless steel fridge. Nicole looks at the kettle after it automatically switches itself off; Nicole waits thirty seconds before pouring a mug full of boiling water into the jug with the coffee in it. Nicole switches the TV on which is on a mounting on the kitchen wall, the news comes on. Nicole looks at her watch, as time seems to pass more slowly than ever. Taking out another spoon Nicole stirs the mixture of boiling water and Java coffee for a final time before letting the coffee settle to the bottom of the jug before pouring the water into the mug. Nicole then stirs the mug of coffee in a clockwise fashion and then changing direction to go anti-clockwise and back again before throwing the spoon into the sink and going into the living room.

INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY
MS – Nicole is sitting on the sofa holding the cup of coffee in her hands while watching a programme on satellite TV. When the phone rings, Nicole leans over the arm of the sofa and checks the caller ID on the display. It’s River, Nicole leans back over the sofa and carries on watching the programme. The phone stops ringing as Nicole takes a sip of the coffee and puts her feet up on the sofa so her whole body is now strewn across the sofa. Nicole leans over the arm of the sofa and picks up the handset of the phone that is on the wooden floor, resting in the black plastic holder. Nicole then places her cup of coffee next to the holder on the floor and dials the number into the phone and then presses the dial out number to dial. The number that Nicole dialled is Anna’s. The dial tone is heard and then the ringing tone is heard, Anna’s mother answers the call. Her name is THORA.

MS – Anna is walking up the street with her hands in her pockets as she looks around.

Anna pauses looking up at the sky, pulling a puzzled a look she stands there listening to the WIND blowing the trees the birds SINGING and a distance police siren is heard in the distance.

MS – Anna knocks at the door; she waits nervously as she hears footsteps approaching the door. A CLICK is heard as Nicole opens the door and allows Anna in.

TWO-SHOT - Anna and Nicole are in the hallway as Nicole, hold Anna at the waist and manoeuvres Anna to the living room.
ANNA
I see your mum isn’t home?
NICOLE
Yeah, she won’t be back until late tonight.
Anna gets closer to Nicole, pulling Nicole’s arms round her waist. As Anna puts her arms round Nicole and tilts her head as she goes to kiss Nicole on the lips. The phone RINGS as Nicole and Anna are about to kiss. Nicole breaks off from kissing Anna as she goes to answer the phone.

LAURA
Hi Nicole, it’s me.
NICOLE
Mum, what are you ringing up for?
LAURA
I’ve just been on the phone to Grandma, she’s not feeling to well so I’m going to go and see her tonight. Unfortunately I won’t be in tonight. You’ll have to do some shopping and I’ll pay you back later. Okay?
NICOLE
So you’re not coming home tonight?
LAURA

Nicole puts the phone down and shouts Anna into the living room.

OVERHEAD TWO-SHOT – Anna and Nicole are in bed asleep with the duvet strewn across their naked bodies.
O.S – A CLICK of the door is heard as Laura enters the house.

INT. HALLWAY – DAY
MS – Laura has just entered the house holding a hotel bill after spending a night in a hotel. Laura is just about to hang her coat up when she spots an item of clothing on the banister of the stairs; the item in question is Anna’s khaki coloured combat trousers. Laura smiles and takes off her coat and wanders into the dining room.
CUT TO:
INT. DINING ROOM – DAY
MS – Laura sets her coat down on the table and grabs a pear from the fruit bowl in the centre of the table before heading out the dining room and into the hallway.
CUT TO:
INT. BEDROOM – DAY
TWO-SHOT – Nicole and Anna are in bed, while Nicole is asleep. Anna wakes up and looks at the clock resting on one of the slats of the futon, Anna then rubs her eyes and runs her hands through her hair and shakes herself to wake up.
MS - Anna then carefully slides from underneath the duvet so as to not to disturb Nicole. Anna is wearing a blue shirt and her knickers with nothing on her feet.
PAN LEFT - Anna goes over to Nicole’s desk where there are some leftover breadsticks from the night before in a tall glass with coloured squares on the outside covering the whole of the glass. As Anna sits down on the chair after removing Nicole’s top and her bra and carefully placing them on the floor Anna notices a book on the floor that had fallen off the desk. The book in question is Nicole’s diary; Anna picks it up and glances at the page where it had fallen open, Anna starts to read about Nicole’s entry about after they had first slept together and how Nicole had puppy dog eyes for a young woman at the checkout at the local supermarket.
O.S – A yawn is heard as Nicole starts to wake up.
MS – Anna quickly closes the diary.
PAN RIGHT – Anna quickly goes over to the bed where Nicole is just pulling herself up and grabbing part of the duvet to keep her warm. Nicole sees Anna standing at the end of the bed.

O.S – A knock at the door is heard.

TWO-SHOT – Anna leans back on the bed her head extends past the wall, which is blocking Nicole’s view. Anna sees that it’s Nicole’s mum.

(Giggles after Nicole kissed her stomach)

Anna smiles and lifts up her arm to say hi.

(Lying over Anna after working her way up)

INT. COLLEGE CORRIDOR – DAY
Anna and Nicole are walking down the corridor hand in hand; as they approach an adjoining corridor River appears with a bunch of his close friends. River notices that Nicole and Anna are holding hands and makes a passing comment.
RIVER
Well, well, well if it isn’t the lesbian whore Nicole and her prostitute girlfriend Anna
NICOLE
(Giving evils to River)
Well at least Anna is a better lover than you
RIVER
(Shocked)
You fucking bitch, I’m going to make you pay for that comment.
Nicole was about to make another comment when Anna pulls her away.
ANNA
(Concerned voice)

RIVER
(Sarcastically)
Nicole can’t stand up for herself; she had to get her bitch friend Anna to stand up for her.
Anna is dragging Nicole by the hand away from River, while River’s friends blocked a punch that River was about to throw at Nicole when One of River’s friend whispers in Rivers ear.
FRIEND WEARING BLUE SHIRT
(Whispers)

River breaks free from the hold and just gives Nicole an evil look and shouts down the corridor.
RIVER
(Shouting)

INT. BEDROOM – DAY
MS – River is at his desk looking over some old photos of Nicole and himself together. When he spots a bottle of whisky on the side half full after Nicole broke up with him. River grabs the bottle unscrews the top and throwing it across the room, he takes a mouth full of whisky and swallows. After that he starts to listen to some rock music, opening a draw he sees a pirated copy of the anarchists cookbook on how to get revenge. River smiles as he opens the book and starts reading, along with the anarchists cookbook there is also a copy of urban guerrilla warfare which River also gets out. As River starts to read he grabs the whisky bottle and starts taking small mouthfuls. He ruffles around the mess of the photos and the notes from his course as he starts to plot his revenge.
CUT TO:
EXT. STREET – DAY
MS – River is sitting on the pavement behind a car watching Anna’s house as her mother comes home from work. River holding a camera places the camera close to his hip and points the camera without looking through the viewfinder at Anna’s house at takes a photograph noting the time down in a black notebook. River then notices Anna in the upper right room of the house looking out the window, River looks around to see if he can spot what Anna is looking at and notices to his left a flat roof that is in line with Anna’s room. River turns away from Anna’s house and looks to the house with the flat roof carefully sketching the house in his notebook.
