I must in all honesty, update this entry, for I stumbled onto the magic key to post a story on Smashwords. It was operator error not one of the poltergeist that I’m sure came preloaded in my computer that prevents me from getting what I want from it. For those of you who didn’t read this bio before—which I’m sure includes the rest of the world’s population—I repeat: I am an old man who loves to write. I started decades ago—the exact number is irrelevant—on a cast iron framed manual typewriter that would now serve little purpose beyond a boat anchor. I love composing fiction on the computer, mainly because of the spell check feature. Why someone who can’t spell worth a damn wants to write, I’ll never be able to explain. I take solace in the knowledge that some well-known writers throughout history were so afflicted. However, I must confess, that is about as far as I can go into this—to me—frightening world of cyberspace. I don’t have accounts on face book (wouldn’t touch it with a ten-foot pole. Almost nightly the news is filled with stories of people murdered by people they have contacted there.) I feel the same way about Myspace, a blog or personal web site. I don’t tweet or twit or what ever that is. That really seems silly--just call them and talk! So I’ll be contented to write and enjoy retirement until the final heartbeat or wayward city buss runs me over.

Hey! First of all, thanks for picking my work to read! I love to write and tell stories, and I have been doing it since I could hold a pen. I love zombies, the italian mafia, and serial killers. Not in that same order and not for the same reasons. I love to read books in bed, at work, in the car, in the tub, in the air, when I'm mad, when I'm happy, when I'm hungry....ect I'm very blunt. I'm very sarcastic. I'm damn funny and cute to boot. Normally, in all of my stories you'll read some reference to rock n'roll music, Joshua Homme (my favourite rock star), and/or Queens of the Stone Age (my favourite rock band). If you don't see these things then it's probably not one of my stories. And if you don't like these things, tough titty. My favourite colour is purple :D Stephen King is my favourite author. After reading, movies are my second love. My stories are meant to make you laugh, excite you, thrill you, but most of all, entertain you. After all, writing is one of the oldest sort of entertainment there is. I am looking for literary representation, so fill free to message me for any information. Don't forget to leave a REVIEW!! Enjoy.

I've enjoyed reading erotic fiction for many years and always found the concept of being turned on by words on a page intriguing. When I decided to help a sleepless night pass by writing a short story, it somehow became a very rude tale of an office full of beautiful people enjoying a variety of sexual encounters with each other! (This evolved into the 'Sex In The Office' series, available to purchase from this website). When I read what I had written some time later, I was suprised to find it quite a turn on! Impressed that I've managed to create from nothing, I've decided to share some of my writings online. I've been amazed over the years by the low standard of writing of some of the stories I've read. I've put a lot of love, care and time into my stories - hopefully it shows! I don't believe that men want to read stories of mindless sex between grunting automotons and women need to have erotica dressed up with endless romance & flowery language. Sex should be enjoyable and fun for everyone and I want my writing to reflect that. You won't find any humiliation of women (or men), infliction of pain etc. here! Thanks taking the time to read this - I hope you enjoy the stories!

Don't hear many author bios start like that, do ya? But it's the truth. Even despite my late start, I've never been accused of having a dull imagination. Yowza! If only people knew just how dirty my mind is! For years, I was actually ashamed at how nasty the characters in my head acted. Now, I celebrate their boldness and wish some of their kick-ass-and-take-no-prisoners attitude would rub off on me.

I'll stretch my fiction skills to the limit in an attempt to make a suburban Ontario housewife sound scintillating. Here goes: By day Lainey Bancroft is a mild mannered office manager for the HVAC business she owns with her husband (frequently referred to as Gas, long story—with several different endings). The office is run from her home so she has the luxury of working in her pj’s 24/7 and is also available as a truant officer for her teens, Groovy Girl, who prefers art to arithmetic and is attending the local college for graphic design, and Groovy’s brother Tech who spends hours on end playing guitar riffs from old head banger music and would rather hack into the school computer than actually go to school. (We reckon he'll either be the next Billy the Kid or the next Bill Gates) Lainey likes to indulge her athletic side by cleaning up after a six-month-old Golden Doodle puppy, a.k.a as the 'Dirt Devil' who lives to shred houseplants, a geriatric, attitude disordered cat that thinks he is a German Sheppard, and the newest addition to the family, a pure black kitten who wandered in despite the other crazy pets and never left. We call her Stella because she can scream just like DeNiro. Stel...lah! Yep, showing my age, for sure. Shocked In addition to gardening and a vast kitchen repertoire that has earned her the—ahem, privilege—of hosting every family party and event, Lainey also writes. Her romance stories run the gamut on the sensuality scale, leaving her to wonder if she is sinfully sweet, or sweetly sinful. Last week she celebrated her 13th release, the novella Sunni Side Up included in The Wild Rose Press OUT OF THE DARK anthology. Lainey also has short works of erotic romance and speculative fiction published under a name she has yet to publicly admit to. Stay tuned. There! And if that didn’t fulfill your more- than-you-ever-wanted-to-know wishes, feel free to pop over to my web site http://www.elaineforlife.com

But not in that order. I started writing as hobby just after leaving university in 1998, and in 2005 my first short story was published by the subscription website Ruthie’s Club. Phaze published my first novel, Charlotte’s Secret, in 2008. Eternally & Evermore is my forth Phaze novel. Originally from Wolverhampton in The Black County, I now live in the Northamptonshire countryside just a stone’s throw from where Princess Diana is buried and the Gunpowder Plot was plotted. It’s far cry from my inner-city roots, but that’s what an education does for you. I studied at the University of Aberystwyth and the University of Swansea. When I'm not writing, blogging, counting other people’s money or being a loving husband and father, I enjoy the peace and quiet of my garden, where he grows all types of quite magnificent fruit and vegetables.

Author bio:
I am an older guy with a passion for reading and writing erotica. Driven by what I call my muse to create images with words. I write mostly of romance and sensuality, but that often includes steamy sexual scenes as well which I pride myself in doing with fully engorged (pardon the pun)detail. I began writing after reading so many tales that tintillated my muse to do so and posted many on free sites. It wasn't but a year ago that I gained the courage to publish my works, in hopes that some would enjoy them and comment so that I might learn to bring smiles of joy to those who read them. Good day and happy reading to all, and as a friend often tells me, "follow your pen for it knows what lies within the soul of your muse." I can only hope to see reviews of my works, for I cannot know how best to satisfy the readers of wondrous erotic pleasures unless I feel the pulse of the readers. My thanks in advance to all who take the time to respond to that need. My thanks go out to Mark and all of those here at smashwords for their help and patience with my uneducated ways of writing. Trust that in time I will evolve and write even more enticing erotica for my many followers.

Author bio:
J.E. Taylor is a writer, a publisher, an editor, a manuscript formatter, a mother, a wife and a business analyst, not necessarily in that order. She first sat down to seriously write in February of 2007 after her daughter asked: “Mom, if you could do anything, what would you do?” From that moment on, she hasn’t looked back and now her writing resume includes six+ published novels along with several short stories on the virtual shelves including a few within eXcessica anthologies. Her first book, DARK RECKONING - released on July 5, 2010 - introduced Special Agent Steve Williams to the masses. Pamela Jenewein – Romance At Heart Review: “J E Taylor writes a thrilling and engaging paranormal horror, “Dark Reckoning”. The absorbing, fluid plot builds slowly towards its divergent terror-driven climax. As sturdy, forthright characters convey the story’s age-old message; stay out of the woods…and while you’re at it, the water too.” Ty Drago, Editor of Allegory and author of PHOBOS: “J.E. Taylor has penned a tale of terror worthy of Lovecraft. The strong characters, edgy atmosphere and unflinching narrative hooked me from the first word and kept me riveted all the way through to DARK RECKONING's horrifying conclusion - a solid piece of storytelling!" VENGEANCE – released on November 1, 2010 is the second in the Agent Williams series. Author Poppet says of Vengeance: “VENGEANCE is a great crime thriller – it was an excellent read, it moves at a frenetic pace with multiple character threads being woven through it to culminate in an explosive ending. I recommend it as a gripping read you won’t be able to put down.” And Hunting Season is the latest Steve Williams Novel. "Unstoppable, breath stealing, and terrifying all at once." - Cat Connor, author of killerbyte, terrorbyte, and exacerbyte. "Hunting Season goes where few venture, mixing a compelling crime thriller with supernatural forces. The action and drama is thick and fast and I guarantee you will not be able to put this book down." - Poppet, author of Seithe and Darkroom. She also released her first erotic thriller in July 2010 - SURVIVAL GAMES. Pamela Jenewein, Romance At Heart, Rated Grade-A Select Recommended Read: “Ms.Taylor creates an overwhelming thrilling reading experience. Although ruthlessly dark and sinister, Survival Games is an impacting, powerful read, lingering long after it’s finished. There is no forgetting this author, or this work of fiction.” John Everson, Bram Stoker Award Winning Author: "Sexy dark and intense, Survival Games will bind you to the page, kiss you slowly and then kick you where it hurts the most; I couldn't stop reading until I knew who won the game... Jessica Connor is one amazing character, and Survival Games is one hot read!" MIND GAMES – the second book in the Games Trilogy was released on November 29, 2010. The last book, END GAME was released on February 14, 2011 In addition to being co-owner of Novel Concept Publishing, Ms. Taylor also moonlights as an Assistant Editor of Allegory, an online venue for Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror. She has been known to edit a book or two and also offers her services judging writing contests for various RWA chapters. She lives in Connecticut with her husband and two children and during the summer months enjoys her weekends on the shore in southern Maine.
